This place truly is a site to be seen. Its a Bar, that is fully outside and accommodates to the Games/tailgate style of drinking and relaxing. From Enormous swings to corn hole on the turf. During a bright summer day, I can imagine this place being slammed. Live music and Sporting Events projected on a large blow up screen. The major flaw is that the facility is connected to the convention center. This means that the only bathrooms are inside and drinks are not allowed. At $8+ you will certainly be paying convention center prices as well. Worth checking out, the inner college grad will come right back out.

What a funky and creative use of space in a up and coming neighborhood on D St between West First St and Summer St. Basically, its an experimental outdoor bar with yard games and Djs and illuminated swings with varying food trucks depending on the evening. They have something for everyone. Beer and wine that is cash only with different genres of food truck nightly (taco, grilled, cheese, etc). Yard games are complimentary including: ping pong, corn hole, interactive virtual games, and artistic illuminated swings. Such a great idea for the early evenings when the warmer seasons are around.

Great park, a must go to if in the area during the evening to experience the light up swings! Other lawn games are free to use like Jenga! There is a tented food court too that is open during nice weather. Also check out their online schedule, they have lots of free events during the nice weather (some do require you to RSVP). A few weekends ago we went to Oktoberfest, there were beers at $7 a glass and lots of free swag. Great spot to meet with friends when youre around Cambridge!

Food and alcohol was decent, DJ was amazing, lots to do. Needs more swings. Friends and I waited almost an hour just to get one picture on the light up swings because two girls were busy taking selfies of themselves in every possible pose. Some kind of fairer system needs to be put in place for turns on the light up swings, the main attraction at the Lawn on D, or they just need to put more rows of swings in.

This place is great to hang out on summer weekends. They have snacks and beer offerings, cornhole, can jam, table tennis, and more. The only problem is that when they have live music, they only have speakers on the stage side of the park, so they blast the music so it is audible on the other side. This makes it either uncomfortably loud on the stage end of the park, or barely audible on the other end.

I had heard a lot about this place from friends, so I finally stopped by once I moved here. It was a pretty cool place, but really crowded. I came during the Labor Day celebration, which was actually really cool with live music in a bar and all kinds of extra stuff. The swings are pretty fun, but I couldnt spend much time on one because there were so many people that I felt a little bad taking very long.

Whoever came up with this idea is a genius! During the Inbound 2014 conference, the food trucks lined up along the Lawn on D for lunch. They have activities, places to sit & chat, & awesome retro swings. The setup made it easy to meet people, network & enjoy the beautiful weather. Perfect for a conference at the Boston Exhibit & Convention Center, you walk right out the door & you’re there!

A fun area to hang out with friends in the summer. This place features activities such as light up swings, giant jenga, bocce ball, ping pong, and corn hole. There is a large covered area for seating, watching the game on TV, and a live band at night. Theres also a bar that serves wine and beer, and a variety of food including burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches.

Cool space. It seems like a public park mixed with a beer garden. The swings are unique and fun for kids and adults alike. It was nice to have a big fenced in space for the kids to run around. Lots of friendly security (police?) presence. The food was not as expensive as I expected and I was pleased with the number of healthy options.

Awesome area. I was going to say awesome park, but its really more than that. Its a good built in infrastructure for little events and fairs, movies-in-the-park, concerts, etc. Stayed across the street at Aloft during a visit, and they were having a childrens fair at Lawn on D - my daughter loved it!

This was super cool. There are light up swings, ping pong, a giant chess board, corn hole. They even have concessions (which has alcohol) and when I went there was a DJ. I saw lots of families and I saw lots of younger adults. Its a good place for anyone and it is free. Definitely check it out.

Great after work bar that provides live music, semi-affordable drinks, and a few lawn games (corn hole, giant jenga, bocci ball, and ping pong). There are also some swings that light up at night that are very popular and a number of picnic tables and chairs to lounge around in the grassy knoll.

Neat spot to hang out in at the Seaport or a destination on a particularly sunny day. You can expect many others to have the same idea though, so it can feel a bit crowded at times. Beer, drinks, and light snacks are available for purchase. Its a great place to show people from out of town.

Great place to visit. They often have bands playing, people hanging out enjoying themselves on the lawn by either playing corn hole, chess, ping pong or just laying in the sun. Theres a concession bar where you can grab a sandwich and a drink as well as a bar for a beer if you want.

Fun to go to. Try to go at night to avoid kids and parent who think its only for kids. They should somehow split it so kids arent there late and the 20-30 crowd isnt there during the day. At one point there is a strange overlap of people drunk to early and kids who should be in bed.

With games to play and a chill atmosphere, it was like going to a cookout in the middle of the city. The food was amazing and surprisingly cheap. I definitely recommend the bruschetta chicken sandwich - but we had a huge group and everyone got something different and delicious.

I had no idea this place even existed! Not only does it exist, but it throws cool events, too. They have some amazing circular, color-changing swings up at the moment. When I went, there was a DJ there for the afternoon/evening, as well as a bar. Definitely worth the schlep.

Great atmosphere and nice public park to sit and talk or get some food and play games. The swings are super cool, and its a great park for all ages. They host a lot of different events here, so check the website/facebook for specific things happening each weekend.

The light up swings are really cool, although they can only really be appreciated at night. Visited on a saturday night and the lines were massive, the security was really quite nice, though it didnt excuse the small amount of time you could really swing on them.

Great. Perfect atmosphere. Like being in a concert but more chill. Just a cool place to hang around with your friends, have fun and a few drinks. On a pretty nice location. They close early but you can just transfer to one of the cool bars around the area.
