To be fair we didnt golf here we came as space geeks in search of the launch site of the first liquid rocket by Robert Goddard. The man in the club house was accommodating and told us to hug the rocket wall on the short walk down to the monument. Also in the clubhouse you can see kids drawing honoring Goddard. The golfers were also happy to accommodate and talk a little space history with us. Do be mindful of which direction theyre hitting and keep a cautious eye out for any incoming gold balls.

I absolutely love this course! After work I go and walk 9 holes for less than $15 bucks! You can beat the course- its in great shape. The town of Auburn owns the course now so its all redone and well taken care of. I travel out there because its a great course for the right price. Now, they need someone to donate their time to build a website. The course has a lot of potential to be a little gold mine.

The big fat blonde woman behind the counter will verbally attack you if you do not place your bought and paid for bottle of water on a coaster while sitting at one of her precious tables !!!!!!!! Put a sign up and dont needlessly harass paying customers witch !!!!! A group of course employees sitting next to me werent using coasters either fatso.

Dont go! The course as whole was not maintained well. Areas that you would think are safe places to drive a cart or walk actually have you sinking in water as soon as you step. Some greens even have uncovered metal covers. Plenty of better courses in the area for the same money!

I dont golf but if I did Id say this was a cool little local option. We were there to see the marker for Goddards first rocket launch, which was easy to find. The people in the clubhouse were helpful and everyone there was super nice. Beware of flying golf balls.

Wide fairways and well maintained greens..This is a great course to brush up on side hill down hill lies..Interesting play for a mid handicap golfer...

Honestly, for the price, why not? It has a reputation for being an average course but its a decent layout if youre looking for a quick 9 holes.
