Took an hour long boat ride across the bay this past (Independence Day) weekend, and tied up at the owners dock (it may feel a little shady as the dock really goes up to the house and not the tasting room, but the owner assured me boats are more than welcome to tie up.) The property is nestled up against the Cox River, and provides some great views. There is seating available on a deck outside the tasting room with umbrella covered tables, as well as adirondack chairs scattered around the property, all with great views of the vinyard and water. As it was a hot day, and we still had a boat trip back to the Western Shore ahead of us, we chose to sit inside the air-conditioned tasting room. We arived about an hour after opening and stayed until closing, and the tasting room was surprisingly slow for a holiday weekend. I believe there were at most 8 other groups come in and out over the time we were there. Meat and cheese plates were available for purchase, but we actually brought our own spread. The tasting went wonderfully, even with the owners having to split time between between multiple tables, which actually worked out well as we didnt feel rushed to get through all the samples. As fans of dry reds, our group was most struck by the lineup of whites. Were all of the "we know what we like but cant exactly tell you why" type of wine drinkers, so you might not want to take our word for it, but the whites certainly offered something much different than Im used to getting. The red offerings were also good, but all seemed that they certainly could benefit from some additional cellaring time. Our group had a great time, and we would have no qualms about visiting again.

Beautiful setting. Wine was surprisingly good! I recommend bringing a picnic basket of treats, only some packaged meats and cheeses available for purchase. A blanket to sit on the lawn if you are so inclined. There are tables on the deck and inside of course. Tasting was $10 - maybe 8 wines - including a very good PORT so bring your cigar! Bottles range in price - I want to say $16 and up.

Beautiful setting and tasting room. Excellent wines. However, the two owners were the only staff on hand, and they were very unprepared for the crowd over the holiday weekend. We were relaxed and not in a rush, so we didnt mind, but it did make some of the other customers a bit frustrated. Go with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the setting.

Went to a Free Summer Concert on their grounds and had a great time with friends. The Merit was good but dont know much about the vineyard, the winery, or their other wines, but would live to know more.

We had great weather to sit out on the patio. Its beautiful out there. The owner presented us with each wine for our tasting. Great place to picnic and drink wine.
