I cannot express enough how appalled and disappointed my husband and I were at the conditions we witnessed at this Regal Cinema location in Rockvilles Town Center. It was without a doubt the filthiest movie theater I have ever seen. There was garbage literally everywhere. The carpets were littered with popcorn and trash, the garbage pails were overflowing, the smell was overpowering, and the bathrooms were beyond disgusting. The toilet paper (in the stalls that even had toilet paper) was all over the floor, the floors were wet, and I just didnt want to touch anything, including the soap dispensers that didnt even have soap unfortunately. Gross gross gross! We were in theatre 8, and it looked like it had never been cleaned. I hated to sit down! I attempted to talk to the manager and convey my horror at the conditions and his response was to just nod and say nothing- no apologies and no assurances that anything was going to be addressed. He honestly looked like he just didnt care one bit. Just who is in charge of monitoring the cleanliness of this theatre? Id love to know so that I can contact them and let them know of the abysmal conditions at this filthy, and apparently understaffed theatre. Also, there was only one person selling tickets on a Saturday night! A long line of customers, and one person selling tickets, one person taking tickets at the bottom of the escalator. Ridiculous. We will obviously never go back!

huh, that last review was the worst thing i have ever read about anything. ive been frequenting this theater since they opened their doors. the only problem i ever had was teenagers talking. hey bro, sorry its not your living room, but this is actually one of the nicer ones in the area. why dont you open your home to movie screenings if the desired place is so undesirable. think ill see 2 movies there today, in your honor. as for trash everywhere, and he bathrooms, that sort of happens when 10 movies all let out at once, and i have never had an issue with their management. the service is always great, and, AND, giuseppis pizza is right next door. win effing win, buddy. maybe you should have been around back in the day when this theater was on the other side of the now torn down building, and youd know this nice theater is a blessing.

DEFINITELY 5 STARS!! Ive been to many movie theaters but I have NEVER been so satisfied with one as much as the Regal in Rockville. Its location is very great, right in the heart of the town center! It’s nice because you can go eat in the town center and then you can go watch a great movie! The reclining seats are amazing and very comfortable and relaxing. It’s a very clean place and very nice; no popcorn all over the floors and the seats are spaced perfectly and you dont need to worry about a tight fit with the people next to you. The sound system is great in each theater and it’s not too loud or too quiet, it’s just perfect. The tickets aren’t very expensive either, they’re very affordable. Take my word; you will not be disappointed with this movie theater so go out and enjoy a great movie!!! :)

Worst parking for the reason you have to pay .There should be free parking for the Theatre.

Ive never been disappointed when Ive gone to this movie theater. Ive had a few times where maybe one of the speakers had blown out and the first time experience of watching the movie was not enjoyable HOWEVER, I just have horrible luck wherever I go so in no way is this reflective of the movie theater. But I spoke to the manager when this happened and they gave me free tickets to re watch the movie at another room! Thats just how amazing the environment is, how amazing those recliner seats feel, the amazing sound! I only wish down the road they could bring in IMAX screens into this movie theater. Then itd be worthy of 10 stars if google ever allows it.

Arrived prior to advertised showtime for a recently released movie, but just barely. The information above the ticket booth did not show that the movie would be shown at the time listed online. We asked about this, and they told us that they hadnt sold any tickets. So they had replaced that showing with another film. We pointed out that we were there to purchase tickets for the film prior to its advertised start time. In response they just repeated their explanation as if we hadnt understood it the first time. I think that the theater is operating under the airport model requiring that you arrive two hours prior to the scheduled showing.

I wish I could give them a 0; when my family and I were going downstair for the movie, 3 teenage boys were doing stupid things on the escalator and they hit the emergency stop button. When we were going downstair, one rude employee told us we arent allowed to press the emergency stop button. When we were getting snacks, the manager came and he asked if we pressed that button, we said no. About when the movie was starting the manager asked to see my father and he asked us to leave. He said we were the last people who were close to the escalator. I will tell everyone I know to never go to that place.

Parking is tight- across the street you can park and get it validated at the theater to pay 1.50. Reclining seats are great! Im short and never comfortable- but this was the most comfortable Ive ever been at a theater. The sound was a little loud but everyone is doing that these days. And yes- there is a weird toilety smell in the lobby and halls to the showrooms. I also liked that you could reserve seats online- but then when we got in there, a big group was right next to us. We moved over, but we were worried that someone would come and have reserved those seats...

Horrible parking experience in the open paid lot. Tried to see 10:30pm showing on 12/17. Parked in handicap space for my mom and it was so icy in the parking lot and sidewalks that mom wasnt to get to theatre across the street! It took us 20 minutes waiting in line to exit lot and had to pay $4...for nothing ! Finally drove around and found street parking...at least sidewalks in front of Ben and jerrys was salted and mom was able to get into theatre. Missed first part of movie luckily they let us in even though it already started. Moana was great !

We came to see the new Star Wars movie (we got the tickets well in advance) and they cancelled the movie on the auditorium we were supposed to watch it in and placed us on another auditorium where the seats were totally different. We specifically got the seats on the edge for personal reasons. The manager or person in charge was so slow that after 15 min. the show started, he said that they were booked and couldnt do anything but give us a free tickets for "next time". We were very upset. They messed with our movie, our time and our the night.
