There was over 20 pit bulls with no dog leashes a man was waiting for an ambulance with a worker who was holding his arm together from one of the dogs that tore into his arm and then there were many other pit bulls that were on there leashes being dragged by children that could not control them I love all animals but when you have animals that are off leashes running through childrens park area its completely crazy there were only 2 employees there and they could not control the situation....sad!!!

Its a wonderful park nice clean grounds, playground are nice, beautiful view. But dont make the mistake of joining others in the water, you will get reprimanded when the others do not, and when you are cooperating with their request to get out of the water they threaten you and say "if I see any if you in the water again you are out of here " but let the other folks stay. Not a nice experience this time maybe some other time

Park was to open at 7am and the guy opened the car gate around 1pm. An entire church party had to make alternate last minute venue change for their outing. They had a reservation. We entered thru a man door on the opposite side and picked up a bag of garbage ourselves. It was clearly unkept and shows layers of neglect and mismanagement. Too bad, it had a nice view of the water.

The park is clean and beautiful. Have your fishing license with you as they check. They have bathrooms but are usually closed so you have to use porta potty. The sign says they are open at 8 but weekend and holiday. Open at 7 . I am sitting here now and it is 7:15 not open on memorial day. Over all I think they need to open earlier all the time say dawn to dusk.

Ive loved this park for fishing and the playgrounds since I was a kid. Now however there seems to be very loud music permitted and when larger groups get roudy theres no policing of it...its still beautiful most days, but less kid friendly and relaxing on many others...

The bathrooms should be open while people are there.The taxpayers pay for that park,so the bathrooms should not be closed most of the time.Those portable bathrooms look and smell bad.The people should not have to use them when there are better facilities available.

The park is beautiful and peaceful. Nice views, nice picnic pavilions, grills and playground areas for the kids. I went in June so the sign says the park is open until 8pm.

Cant really swim bcus the water isnt up to code but u can stick ur feet in and theres a nice park, restrooms, grilling areas, picnic tables and pagodas!!

Pretty views, places to picnic, multiple playgrounds and pavillions, boat launch areas, fishing pier, nice shady areas. Not good for swimming though.

Park closes at 430 during the week! I will never go there again. The look of disappointment on my daughters face was heartbreaking.

Love fishing here. Closes Oct 31. Wisk it could stay open all year. It can still have hours its open
