I would never advise anyone to use this pet store or grooming. Young groomers add on unapproved charges and tips as well as the owner and it is very unclean with bad odors. Ex GROOMERS IN AREA claim theyb were told to use the same tooth brush on all DOGS! as used DIRTY towels for weeks are used on dogs to save money. If you do decide to go ask to see grooming station in back and check out the condition of the store and any products you DO buy open up for bugs or defects... BEFORE you leave the store! PREPAY the given price for grooming and any extra charges they add on ..unapproved...can be disputed at pickup! prepare to call sheriff... because they do hold on to your animals...

i been going to this store over 10yrs.they are the only store that takes walk in and are the cheapest around. I have 7 dogs that i bring there they have done a great job every time.the owner there is very nice and patient with you. every one of the groomers have done my dogs and never have i been disappointed I always tip them well for doing such a great job.and if u need your dog less then 3 hours long as its not a holiday they have also done that for me as well. I will keep on going back and so will all my friends. keep up the good work st.Tammany pets

This store was remarkably dirty from the first step inside. I went in to see there fish selection. I wanted to leave as soon as I opened the door but thought, "well Im here so Ill just take a look at their fish." Everything was so dirty. My 2 year old started whining & crying & I thought she was just fussy. She looked up at me & said, " No Mama. Bye bye please. Thats all it took. We were outta there. She was happy & pleasant at the next store we went to. Its bad when a child doesnt even want to look at the animals!

St.Tammany Pet Center is filthy,especally in the dog grooming area.In 30yrs they have never cleaned anything.Go back there and look. I am sure the total building is a fire hazzard and should be condemed.The grooming area is filled with fecies and fleas.My daughter briefly worked there and came home in tears because the place is so nasty,so I went and took a look I was appalled! Go look for yourself. I will always like to see where where my babies are kept because I have standards.

Awful experience. My cat will no longer go in a pet carrier due to St Tammany Pet Center. She is terrified of it. We went for a nail trim, and they decided to do it in a room with several barking and free roaming dogs. They said it was my fault because "I didnt tell them she didnt like dogs". Use some common sense people. I will NEVER bring her back in that building.

I started going here because it was much cheaper. But you dont get to talk to the groomer you talk to the sales person so sometimes you dont get what you want. The one time i did talk to the groomer she was rude! Imagine what my dog must go through! i think i rather go back to the other place and pay $10 more they were much nicer and i always got what i wanted!

Very friendly and family oriented! We always go in asking questions and they are always taking time out to help us with what we need and give us advice! They are very helpful with the type of food your dog or cat should be eating and were so kind to give different varieties of samples to see which one our dogs liked before we actually bought.

THEY GAVE MY DOG FLEAS!! I went there for price, but definitely got what I paid for. I got my dog groomed and the cut was satisfactory, but he did not smell like he got a bath at all. The next day we noticed red dots covering his belly area.... and then I spent the next 2 months getting rid of the fleas that they gave us.

I bring my Yorkie there. the people are very friendly and cut my babys hair perfectly. they know what they are doing and do it very well. please dont forget to tip the ladies that cut the hair. they deserve it

I have been going there for years off and on. I am really disappointed I took my dog for a full groom and they cut her ear. The sad thing is they didnt bother to tell me. my dog has been trembling ever since.

My poor dog came out which scratches and looked down. When he came home, he wouldnt leave his bed. I dont believe my dog was treated right there. Shouldve trusted my gut feeling from the start.

I had tried a couple of places by where I live, and I drove all the way across town. S.T.P. did a great job on my dog and treated it like their own. I will only go there.

Has what you need. if not they will try their best to get it with in a week. Grooming is alway busy but can most of the time get you in even at the last min.

This stores size does not matter, they have better fish and prices then the big stores, much better in grooming also.
