Fantastic place. It was our first time doing any escape room so I cant compare to any other. However, the people running it were more than helpful and friendly. It was challenging and fun. We did the pyramid themed one and the use of technology was sophisticated and great. We ended with "1 second" left officially...but Im fairly certain we just went over by a bit. The staff is what really made the experience fun. They didnt take themselves too seriously and just want people to have a good time. My group gave them more than enough chances for them to get mad. Nothing too over the line, but Ive been at other businesses that are pretty strict. they put a lot of care into the place and you can tell. We will be going back. Easiest 5 star review I have had in a long time.
The best escape the room place in Kansas City. We did Beasleys room for my nephews birthday. The set up is completely original and meticulous. It is extremely difficult but rewarding! They put a little card saying Happy Birthday in one of the puzzle boxes! I did the Pyramid Paradox for my bachelorette party and we had a blast! It was so theatrical with lights, lasers, and so much more! I would recommend everyone and anyone go do both these rooms. When we triggered something, a little mickey and minnie congratulation wedding card appeared! It was so personal and awesome! We had VIP treatment. I hope Tick Tock makes more rooms! I would love to see what they come up with next.

A few co-workers and I got to do Beasleys Billions after work today. It was fun, interesting, challenging yet the time flied. We didnt make it under 60 minutes but it made me want to come try it again. There were five of us total and we combined our efforts to get as far as we did. Before we went others were concerned about the feeling of being locked in a room. Not only are you not locked (theres a standard panic bar to let yourself out) but you are free to step out for water or restroom at any time. Cant wait to go again. Since they have duplicate rooms, it would be really kewl to have team competition.
Great staff! The room we did was a lot of fun. It got a little overwhelming with the amount of numbers we had to come up with (compared to another escape room Ive done before) but overall was extremely enjoyable. The use of technology was impressive and there was a nice amount of humor involved. We went over time but they were cool about it and let us finish since we were so close to getting it which really satisfied my curiosity. Id come back and do the other room and would highly recommend this place.
We had so much fun solving the mysteries. The combination of classic puzzles with technology made this room cooler than many of the others weve tried. Staff was super cool. We solved our room in time but we watched them extend the time and help a group of young men so they could complete their room (instead of just sending them home after their hour). They told us they like to let groups finish if there isnt another group waiting on the room. #verycool
Ive played a couple other escape games and Ive always had a good time, but Tick Tock really rises to the top. Other games Ive played felt too obvious or easy at times, but this game was harder and I appreciated the challenge. For a while I actually thought my group wouldnt "escape", but luckily we finished with 45 seconds to spare! Joe was great—fun and polite—but he needs a choir of crickets for all his awesome bad jokes.
This is one of the best attractions for a family, business or any sort of team building in the KC area. The amount of detail and thought that went into designing these games is incredible. Ive not seen anything else come close so far. Best part is - this is a family owned business - so the games are original and they do their part in making you feel welcome. If you like Escape Games - you have to go here.
This escape room managed to avoid my main complaint with others that Ive gone to: too many arbitrary numbers that seem purposefully designed to misdirect players and waste time. Instead, Tick Tock Escape spent more effort crafting the experience to be challenging without being repetitive. The staff seem to truly enjoy what they are doing and it showed in the quality of the experience.
My favorite escape room that Ive been to! They do an excellent job of combining technology with problem solving skills! The guy who created the Pyramid Paradox room was a genius. Very fun! Cant wait to go back and try one of the other escape rooms they have! Great staff! The rooms looked new but still had an authentic feel to them. It was fully enjoyable!
Best Escape rooms we have been in! Great puzzles, amazing technology, great staff! Pyramid Paradox escape room was authentic and very well done. At the end (If you solve it) it feels like you have accomplished a major challenge. Completely recommend this to anyone who loves escape rooms! Im definitely going back for their other escape rooms!!
If I could rate this 10 stars I would. The rooms here are phenomenal! Of all of the escape rooms Ive done this is by far my favorite. They have a great use of intriguing puzzles and technology. I was able to embrace my inner childhood dreams of being like Indian jones in Pharoahs Pyraminds. I highly recommend Tick Tock Escapes to everyone!!
We celebrated my sons 9th birthday in the pyramid escape room. Everyone really enjoyed it. They actually put a birthday note in one of the props. It was the cherry on top on a fantastic time. Great time, worth the money spent. It was challenging, so youll need a few adults in the group. Looking forward to trying the other room.
We went as a group of four and didnt have to share the room, which was Beasleys Billions. We had a blast! Id been to the Exit Room in Lees Summit (which is also great) but it was everyone elses first time. I feel like this room was harder than the others I had tried, but we escaped and had a ton of fun. Super awesome experience!
Four family members participated in "Beasleys Billions." This was our first experience with an escape room, and we had an absolute blast! We were paired with another couple, and it went super well. The staff was phenomenal-super friendly and helpful both before and during our time in the room! We would absolutely recommend!
Had a great time tonight at Tick Tock Escape Games! Myself, fiancé, mom, and dad did Pyramid Paradox tonight and made it out with 4 minutes to spare! It was not easy but so fun! We felt like we were in a movie trying to escape a tomb! I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have an awesome night!
It was fun, friendly staff, puzzles were challenging, but fair. If youve never done an escape room and are worried about being claustrophobic, dont be. Youre not locked in the room and can leave at any time. Dont go with my friends though, they get mad when you purposely solve puzzles wrong to slow them down.
