Another hidden gem in Overland Park. I first came across this while location scouting for a project. The exhibits were amazing and the information desk was very helpful in explaining what was being shown. Even the lobby area was breath-taking with its almost entirely glass walls. I"ll be sure to visit this museum again.

A variety of contemporary paintings, using a variety of acrylics, oils, paper, and ink. Some statuary, and one video installation. New galleries to open mid-June. Until new space opens, there is limited work to view.

Great gallery of contemporary art with interesting exhibits that cycle through. Very beautiful design of the building and nice cafe on the first floor. Definitely a gem amongst the suburban sprawl of Johnson county.

This might be worth looking at if you were already in the area, but if you were planning a trip, the Nelson-Atkins or the Kemper are better.

Very accessible contemporary art museum, convenient parking and they offer some great art classes for kids.
