This is one of the best facilities in Des Moines. Two full-size basketball courts, sweet café (variety of coffee drinks and some food), a lounging area with televisions, and a relaxing set up by a huge fireplace where you can look out a wall of windows. Youre inside but you kind of feel like youre outside. And in the summer I take advantage of the patio. The staff at this place are some of the best people. Theyre always friendly and eager to help. Theres a great measure of hospitality offered in the café while the staff are eager to give a tour or answer any of my questions. One of the secret gems of this place is the sports they offered to my kids. Sometimes its crazy busy other times its super quiet. Either way its definitely a Des Moines location everyone should check out.

Valley Community Center is wonderful! With everything from an inviting café to a gym that will fit event needs, from an indoor kids play area to fully functional bathrooms (with showers), and from a seating room off to the side to a nice-sized conference room, this facility is great for all needs, people, and events.

Such a great place to bring the kids to play around. LOVE the toddler play room and free coffee. We will enjoy coming for movies once my little guy is older and into watching movies.

This community center is a great place to hold events. The waiting area is clean and offers plenty of seating. The basketball courts are also well maintained and nice to play on

Truly for the community. Play place for small kids, large courts that can be dual- purposed into banquet space, coffee bar, fireplace area, and meeting space.
