I was a groomsmen for a large wedding in August at this venue. One of my favorite things about this place is that it turned the "typical wedding day" into a mini vacation. Almost like a destination wedding, without the hassle! On top of the "normal wedding festivities" our friends were able to swim, kayak, boat and tube on Lake Wawasee. We playe volleyball, enjoyed cocktails at the beach under the sun, ate great meals together at the on site restaurant, danced to live music, and when we were tired from all that, it was easy to rest and relax in our cozy hotel rooms! Overall an awesome experience!! I hope another one of my friends plans a wedding here!

I presented at the Indiana Lakes Management Society Annual Conference in March, 2015 which was at the Hilltop Banquet Hall. The venue was perfect for the conference with a great view of the lake (though it was frozen with about 18" of ice), friendly staff, and nice equipment and facilities. The acoustics were wonderful for speakers during presentations as well as for conversations during meals. The banquet hall was a short walk from the Oakwood Inn which was convenient for conference attendees staying overnight in the guest rooms there.

The Hilltop Banquet Hall is a beautiful venue. The porch/balcony overlooks the lake and makes for some great wedding photos!
