I attended a business luncheon last spring that Barbara Huddleston catered at The Lahr Atrium. The food was amazing and so was the presentation. I attend a lot of business functions, so I can attest that Sovereigns food is among the best in Lafayette. Each item on the menu was prepared perfectly. None of the pasta was gooey or sticky. With other places Ive been to for business lunches (namely the Holiday Day Inn downtown), the chicken is like rubber. Not so with Sovereign. The ice tea was brewed not instant (yes, another local caterer actually does this!). What made the meal complete was the beautiful table decor and linens. My luncheon was at the Lahr Atrium. If you havent been there -- its a must see. The high ceilings, historical architecture and stunning staircase is just gorgeous. I would love to attend a wedding reception there sometime to see it "dressed up." In summary, you wont be disappointed with Sovereign. The food is delicious and the service and table decor make any meal a treat.

We chose Sovereign Catering to cater and also do day-of coordination for my outdoor wedding at my parents farm. Barbara was extremely organized, easy to work with, and flexible (which was VERY appreciated). The food was awesome and her staff was very attentive and professional. They even moved beer from where the kegs were in our side yard to the back yard where we were holding the cocktail hour. She also did a great job working with my other vendors. She solved small problems as they came up so that I didnt have to worry about them on the day-of at all. I would highly recommend Sovereign: great food and great service! We were very happy!!

We used Sovereign Catering & Events to cater a Staff Christmas Party. The owner, Barbara, was wonderful to work with and dealt with my many questions professionally. She worked on the menu tirelessly and it was perfect! She and her staff set everything up beautifully in my home, explained and left detailed notes about different items. Everything tasted incredible and presented very very well. I would not hesitate to recommend this catering company for large or small events!
