I am from Indiana but no longer live in Indiana. My girlfriend and I were in town visiting my family. I had to take my girlfriend out to see some sights in Indy because she swore there were nothing but cornfields in Indiana. My sister took us to New Day Meadery and I was pleasantly surprised. I was very impressed with everything here. They had great food to snack on while trying beverages, The decor was well thought out and amazing. The bar did not have a bottom like a standard bar it was open which gave the room a very airy feeling. I was astonished with their drinks and how good they actually were. This is a place that made me proud to be from Indiana. If more businesses would follow the example set by New Day Meadery it would really boost the amount of people visiting the area. The staff was very friendly and the owner had a wonderful demeanor. If you have not visited New Day Meadery and are reading this review, you absolutely must go here. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for creating such a lovable atmosphere in my home state. We will be long term supporters of this business!

A great space and great hard cider and mead. Hard cider has had a resurgence in the past few years and New Day Craft Mead & Cider is on point with their regular and seasonal ciders, as well as meads. All are available as pints, growlers, or in a flight of 6. I had a flight with three ciders and three meads. Each was very different from the other and enjoyable in their own ways. Prices were nice at $6 for a flight. Pints and growler fills are also very reasonable and vary depending on what you select. Small plates of charcuterie and cheese are available to snack on. I will definitely return with growler in hand.

Having never tried mead before, this was a pleasant first experience. Its a very clean and modern set up. You can sample everything for $1 each, they have 3 ciders and 3 meads. (The black currant mead is the best.) They have a half page menu of cocktails they make using their meads and ciders. They also have meats and cheese and crackers for snacking. The staff was friendly and helpful and easygoing. Will definitely go back if Im ever in the area again. I recommend checking this place out!

I dig this place. Went here on a mellow afternoon and got a very affordable flight of their meads and was quite pleased. All of them (even the unusual ones you might not expect to taste good) were solid. After finishing my flight and getting a glass of their Shelby Blue Ribbon I was delighted to see my bill was still under $10. Every thing is very reasonably priced and the experience was good. Nice place to relax, pretty quiet.

Great staff and the Truffle Balls were good. I wasnt the biggest fan of the wines. We had the sampler and they was only one wine I found decent. I went with a group of 6 and everyone felt the same. I ordered one of their mixed drinks and it was delicious! The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet get together with friends. I may return once the wine selections have been changed.

Excellent still and sparkling (draft) mead. Tastings are similar to a winery, a flight of 6 tastes is a very reasonable $5. They have many varieties of mead with and without fruit in varying degrees of sweetness. I was impressed with the knowledge of the staff and glad to see the owners out and about talking with everyone. A great experience and some really good wine.

Brought my parents here when they were in town to visit. We got the cheese plate and a tasting flight - the food, mead & service where all wonderful. The ambiance was cheerful w/ out being gaudy, & the layout was great for checking out their merchandise or for just lounging. My parents went home w/ 2 bottles of mead so I guess you could say it was a success!

Great meadery with a good atmosphere for relaxing and socializing. Fair prices and a well scheduled event list. I enjoyed all 3 ciders and all 3 meads they offered when I came. The meads are not overly sweet and have a nice flavor profile. New day only offers snacks to eat, but the snacks are delicious.

AMAZING. Cant say enough good things about this place. The mead AND cocktails are incredible, the staff is incredible. They feature different local artists so the awesome wall art is ever changing. They also host fun events and fundraisers. Excellent place

My fist time trying mead and was surprised at the variety. Nice selections of cider as well. I didnt try the appetizers but maybe next time. Nice bright space with some limited seating and friendly staff. Can get discounts on growler fills on Tuesdays.
