The hotel and restaurant are wonderful. People smiling all the time greeting you when you walk by. The casino is not friendly only the rewards counter and the security guards at the front . No one even smiles when you walk by. I was there for 6 hours and only was asked one time if I needed anything to drink while I was playing slots. This has been this way several times I have been in there. The manager of the food and beverage area is one of the most hateful and rude people I have ever seen. You would figure that they are there to make money and would be nicer, I guess they hate their job and they show it. They need to be trained liked the Hotel train their people or get a whole new staff. I have called several times to report this and I cant even get a call back. I guess they make enough money to worry about one unhappy customer. I usually get free room and free play once a month, but I wont be back there. WORST CASINO ever !!

Usually have an okay time here.. tonight they had 5 black jack tables open.. 4 of them were a min of $10 and only 1 was a min of $5. The first dealer was an older gentleman named richard. He was very soft spoken and I couldnt hear him over the loud music. The second guy was absolutely terrible. He was constantly looking around and not even paying attention to the table. He would just assume that you would stay or bet.. didnt even give you the option of what you wanted to do I felt real cheated out of him. I had to tell him 10 times I wanted to hit because he was too busy staring at a girl across the casino. He was a Chinese man named Steve. I will never ever sit down at a table with him dealing. This ruined my whole idea of French lick

this place sucks what are you talking about the people there have a rotten attitude against the players for some reason I dont know Ive spent thousands in there butt I feel like crap when I leave because I really didnt have any fun and I spent all this money I think going to casino is about having fun not winning when the staff does not make it enjoyable for you to be there I think its wrong they should be grateful everytime I come in the door for they have a job then theres no one to greet you theres no one to say thank you when you leave just guard standing there watching you I hate this place I wish they would bar me I dont know why I keep going back sincerely Tim gamblin

Although we love the hotel and grounds and all the lovely things to do, the smoke and stink in the casino is too much. Also allowing people to play 2 machines at once while others wait is not fair. We recently visited Rivers Casino which is a similar size casino in Rosemont Illinois. Its 100% no smoking. They have a separate smoking room or of course smokers can walk outside. After being there walking into your casino was disgusting. Left quickly. More people are nonsmokers than smokers. Why not reverse your situation? Put the smokers in the little no smoking room. Remove the carpet and clean up the main casino.

Wont be back. I had a lot of luck here 10 year ago. I brought my wife back with me and I watched her get shorted $90+ dollars at cash out on her birthday!! We spent an hour trying to get her money back and they basically threw their hands up and said they cant figure it out. I would say save your money and go Shelbyville or local card games. Besides the view, this place has nothing to bring me back to French lick. Too bad, we travel casinos all over the country and will avoid this one even if it is so close to home.

We stayed at the hotel and it was very nice. My wife wanted to dance and we went to the casino bar. To access the bar we had to walk through the casino. It was filled with heavy cigar and cigarette smoke. The casino opens into the bar where the stage is located. To our dismay, smoking is also allowed in the bar. We are used to the Tropicana Casino bar in Evansville where it is smoke free. We did not stay because of the acrid smoke. If you value your health you will not go there.

Our first time to French Lick and the Casino. Staff were very pleasant. We do not smoke but they do a great job in getting the smoke out of the Casino. It did not bother us at all. Machines have plenty of room between them and lots of penny machines. We loved our brief stay and took the time to tour the two large hotels that take you back into the 1900s. Well worth the time if for no other reason than to see the hotels. We will be returning soon.

Used to be my favorite place. For YEARS! Not sure whos taken over the mgmt, but it has immediately shown. Youll see a distinct change in customer service, features and services, as well as staff friendliness. Might as well go to Horseshoe or Belterra and save the mileage. Literally ONE gaming table open at 4am, and the minimum is still 10 dollars on a Tuesday. 2 people playing. They dont care at all anymore.

Always fun to visit French Lick Casino - The right amount of class, without being "too" classy - Friendly staff - Clean, comfortable, good game diversity - I like to play three card poker - Good rewards system set up with players cards. Drinks are cheaper then the Trop in Evansville - Shuttles run to West Baden, if you stop in to French Lick Casino, take the opportunity to visit West Baden, its spectacular.

I wont be back, they have screwed me & my dad out of a lot of money. I even took q picture when I won $93 and they said they "couldnt find the receipt " so I was out all that money. Screw them, all they do is take your money.

Surprisingly a nice casino in the middle of nowhere. Getting there from north is a mess. But overall big, nice, and even has non-smoking areas that are fun to stay at.

Nice atmosphere, laid back environment. Have a non smoking room too. They also have music going and a small dance floor if you feel like dancing.
