Wow. Complete lack of interest in your business. The web site does not include a Pro Shop phone number, so you better resign yourself to only looking at the tee times listed on the site; no ability to talk directly with the club. Then, if you do a google search for the club, the first listing actually gives a phone number for Glen Eagles (which used to be a sister co-owned club). That pro shop indicated it gets phone calls "all the time" - but said "they didnt have the number for Ruffled Feathers". By then, I probably should have directed my interest elsewhere (surprising that R/F wouldnt be attentive and make sure there is a correct listing on the web), but decided to go through directory assistance and finally talked directly with the Pro Shop. I explained all the above, and received -0- interest or surprise that there is no listing for a way to directly contact the club. I presume that, if I had any questions about the course or the facility, there would have been no customer service to answer them. While the course is certainly a fun challenge (Ive heard its interesting), I cant imagine that a day of golf there would be a pleasant experience.

I was just here for a wedding. The venue itself was very beautiful and the food was pretty good, but the service was not the best. I think a lot of it comes down to poor training. For instance, when serving the meal to a table have three servers serving it to a table at a time. This eliminates people having to sit and wait for their food while everyone else gets to eat. Also, you should really try to serve women first and have the main entree at six oclock when served. I dont generally care about these sorts of things, but when it is at a wedding there needs to be proper etiquette. I was taught all about proper etiquette from working a serving job at a retirement home and we had to practice them everyday. Another issue we ran into was the unsafe chairs. They were very unstable and a few had screws missing. One person ended up taking a big chunk out of her finger.

If I could give no stars, I would. Food, atmosphere, and service were not good to say the least. However, all those issues can be traced back to management, or lack thereof. If management doesnt seem to care about presentation or its guests, than the employees will certainly reflect that attitude as well. The most egregious issue was lack of follow up by the management team for a major issue which happened during the reception. Not only was there no follow up, but it seemed like a game of pass the blame. Accidents and mistakes happen to the best of us, but its the lack of ownership which makes the lasting impression. In this case, it couldnt be worth it. Id rather have a reception at taco bell in the future- the bathrooms would probably be cleaner.

I just had my wedding and reception at Ruffled Feathers on June 19, 2010. It was perfect from beginning to end. Toby is amazing to work with. He gave us such incredible service, was so flexible and made sure everyone was taken care of that day. It was a warm day for the outdoor ceremony and Toby made sure there were cold bottles of water for all our guests. He brought drinks down for the bridal party during picture taking. He was terrific. The entire staff was so friendly and provided terrific service. The food was delicious and plentiful. Bartenders were quick, polite and kept the drinks flowing. There wasnt a thing I would change. After my experience I couldnt imagine having a wedding anywhere else.

We recently had a reunion event here but the service was very poor and they did not hold up to the contract . We were promised the use of their terrace room in exchange for accommodating their error in an overlap in booking two events even though we had the signed contract with the time slot we wanted and the other client didnt. We ended up having our guests confined to the bar/restaurant for the first hour instead. We were not able to use the terrace room and in fact they had set it up for another event. I blame this on management on site at the time of the event. The 2 stars I gave was mainly for the taste of the food which was very good, but other than that, I would not book with them again.

My husband and I got married at Ruffled Feathers this past June. We were beyond grateful and happy with our decision in having our wedding at Ruffled Feathers. Kathy was absolutely amazing to work with. She listened to our needs and allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. The entire staff, including the event manager and servers were wonderful. My family and friends had nothing but positive things to say about the venue, service, food, and staff. My husband and I could not imagine getting married anywhere else than Ruffled Feathers. I highly recommend this beautiful club. The food was delicious and the price was perfect for our budget!!! I would choose Ruffled Feathers!

I attended a wedding here in August 2013. The facility, food and service was mediocre at best. Worse, I cut my hand pretty severely on a piece of jagged metal on a bathroom stall. I had to leave the wedding to go the ER and get stitches. It took them 4 days to contact me to see how I was doing, only after I left them several voice mails. It has now been three weeks since I sent them my medical bills and I guess I shouldnt be surprised that I havent heard from them. This place is nothing special. Its owned by a corporation in Virgina. There is no real customer care or appreciation. You can find better.

The place is alright to have a party , food is ok. Definetely not great. I only gave 1 star because I have worked there , maybe if I had not they could get 2.5.. I have just seen the other side of Ruffled Feathers. They first of all have management that thinks are invincible and treat their workers very poorly. It is probably because all of the workers are mostly students in high school or early college. The way they push them to work for such a low wage is rediculous. Could say way more..but no room

Course is in rough shape... We paid $40 to play, but probably worth no more than $25. The greens are fried in places, have fire ant hills growing, and 18 looks like a turtle shell with all of the dry spots. The bunkers look as though they are getting ready for a course overhaul. Fairways are in good shape. Tee boxes are okay as well. For a Pete Dye course, you should expect more...

First time playing this course. I thought the grounds and layout were fantastic. Very challenging. A bit of a disappointment was the drainage. It was cartpath only and most of the bunkers were full of water - to the point that I was losing balls in them. I would love to go back when it dries up a bit. The Clubhouse was very nice also.
