Poplar Creek has awesome lanes, and the environment is nice. My only advice to make sure u call ahead, and speak to a man, or at least an adult. Sometimes they have their children working there, specifically (their younger daughter) or something. I came n, after confirming with a male manager on the phone, and the young girl working ((w/a Santa hat on)) was extremely rude & even acted bothered that I came n. He told me, a group is coming n at 12pm, but we have room. The young girl tells me, "I need u outta here n an hour, No, 30 to 40 mins." After I mentioned that I confirmed with management, she gave a disgusted look and walked away, to which, the older lady was nice enough to confirm vervallly that I was ok, to bowl, and Not rush. Outside the kids, working customer service, this place is friendly& hospitable.

They give only one lane for 6 ppl even though there are more than 8 empty lanes. They say they are busy, so they cannot give more lanes. They try not to give new lanes if there is a lane that ppl have been using the day. Because of that, some of new lanes are too slippery. I guess they do not want to clean all the lanes when they close. Especially short grey hair granny has terrible attitude. That granny always sitting at the counter with angry face. She makes the place bad. She makes ppl feel bad.

I think this is a great entertainment center, especially the bowling. The people running it are very friendly and are very attentive to our need and give the impression they really enjoy their jobs.. A shout out to the young lady in the snack bar area.. I sadly didnt get her name, she served me a hamburger and an order of tater totes. She couldnt have been nicer and the food was done perfectly. Ok, so bought a deal on Groupon and went there to use it. She said that she cant give me the deal. I wanted to check if she provides lanes without coupons, she said yes! I was like why cant you do it with Groupon coupon? Am I supposed to complain Groupon or poplar creek bowling? Thanks for ruining our weekend. Coupon was valid, even she agreed, then why couldnt she take it?

Best place to play foosball in the Chicagoland area for serious foosers. Its a bit of a trek if youre in the city, but the tables are nice, the people are friendly and the competition is top notch. Decent bar food at a decent price and good beer selection too. If youre lucky you might even get to play with a Hall of Famer.

On the phone, the man was so nice. First I asked him how much it is per person, per game (it was $1) then I asked how much was shoes (it was $3.95) Then, I asked him how much it is per hour, per lane, and he said: its not worth it to spend $27 not including shoe rental when you can do per person, per game for $1

Nice place to go bowling! The beer list is great too. Never been to a bowling alley that had Bourbon County on the beer list until I visited this place!
