Course has possibilities with challenging ravines and woods and some short par 4s (risk/reward). Greens are too slow and uneven - spongy - with a little bit of effort and maintenance, this course could be a 3-4 star course since the location is nice off of I-294. Tee boxes are spongy. Yardage markers are inaccurate and too sparse - add the sprinkler head measurements or a 150 yd barber pole - something on the fairways. The Hole Number signs are helpful for far shots. Theres two bunkers on the entire course. It always seems soggy - drainage needs a major overhaul. Some of the tree plantings seem random.

ITS A HALF STAR!!!!!!!!. GOLF COURSE IS A GOAT RANCH. YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO TO A FARM AND TEE OFF. THEY DONT PUT ANY EFFORT INTO THIS COURSE. I MEAN IM SPOILED BUT IF THE PARKING LOT IS EMPTY AT 7AM ON A SUNDAY MORNING ON 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND, SOMETHING IS WRONG. UNLESS YOURE A HACK JOB ON THE GOLF COURSE. NO FAIRWAYS NO SECOND CUT. YOURE LUCKY THERE ARE HOLES WITH FLAGS IN THEM. EVEN IF YOU HIT A STRAIGHT TEE SHOT INTO THE "FAIRWAY" YOU COULD LOSE IT IN THE CABBAGE PATCH. MOVE ALONG GOLFERS, MOVE ALONG. OH AND THE FIRST GOLF CART DIDNT TURN LEFT. HAHAHA SERIOUSLY

I used to live in an apartment directly South of the golf course. One day I was driving along 99th Street and my windshield was shattered with a golf ball from the course. The workers and owner were totally unwilling to talk to me. They hung up on me multiple times and threatened to call the cops when we just wanted answers to what kind of insurance they had to cover any damage in this instance. I would never recommend this place due to the total lack of respect from owner and employees

Has an 18 and 9 hole, executive course. Course conditions were ok. The rough is ROUGH and you will lose balls in situations where you think you shouldnt. Not a lot of sand or water hazards at all. Greens are very spongy. No carts in the parking lot so you have to carry your bag to the course. No beer cart but there is a centrally located spot on the course where you can buy snacks without having to wait till you get back to the clubhouse.

Im torn in this course. I live so close, its convenient. But maintenance on the course lacks big time. See my picture of the sand trap on hole 19. Today the fairway and greens were very nice, but a little slow. Course itself is not very challenging. Just slightly long greens on the 18.

It was in terrible shape and the layout is dumb. Only real positives were that the course was so empty that nobody else was out on a Saturday morning and its not very challenging. None of the yardage signs are accurate and it seemed like all the employees had the day off or something.

I called them to find out information regarding an internship and the person who answered the phone was very rude. I do not know how they run such an establishment when they cannot even follow basic courtesy when answering the phone.

Fun course with simple but challenging design. Very reasonably priced and often pops up on Groupon. Fun staff and is adequately kept up throughout the season.

Not a tough course but well kept and very quiet. No rush or crazy waits, price is excellent for the value . Very hilly and full of ancient trees.

Hickory Hills Country Club... is a very nice Banquet Hall.. I like it...The only issue is the restrooms... are downstairs!

Never have enough carts; you end up sitting and start about an hour after your tee time,. Just get some more carts!
