I had the opposite experience of the last reviewer. I found that while the layout of the course isnt inspired, the prices are more than reasonable (I played 9 hole for $12 on the weekend... only $9 on weekdays). It was my first time playing the course and there are certainly deficiencies, particularly the care of the bunkers (it was like playing out of clay, not sand) and surprising slowness of the greens. The course was generally well-kept, there werent any groups in front of me, and in the end it was certainly worth the money - a good value course and a lot of nice scenery the farther into the round you get.

Swan Lake is a public course. Most of the holes are fairly straight forward with little danger if you are striking the ball decently. Greens are receptive and are rolling fairly true. You should leave feeling like you got your moneys worth. Not a country club so dont expect a lot a customer service.

Nice staff and club house. Few quirky holes but overall nice layout. I have played 3 times and each time the greens were being aerated or just generally in bad shape. Still worth a visit if you are in the area

Good place to get in a quick round of golf. Unlike some other courses you dont have to have someone with you. You can play alone if you want
