Battery, physical assault, verbal assault, property damage - It is not worth compromising the safety of your guests to host in this beautiful venue. My guests were assaulted physically and verbally by club members who had to be escorted out by police at my wedding. Tracy Reyes (assistant manager) and the staff allowed uninvited members to attend and take advantage of all the aspects of my wedding reception (prepaid food, bar, photobooth, dance floor, DJ, guest book and candy table). When their intoxicated behavior became out of control, they were asked to leave by my family and refused. They violently argued with my wedding party that they had a right to be there, ripped my best friends dress, knocked over a table, broke a large picture frame and pushed over a guest. My family called the police when Oak Park Country Club did not take any action. After the event, the country club took no ownership of the events, blaming us for calling the police and making false accusations.The Oak Park Country Club, specifically the assistant manager, seemed to support and encourage the violent members. If you are considering this venue to host a party, I encourage you to reconsider. It is not worth compromising the safety of your guests. I had never seen anything like the type of behavior that occurred at my wedding.

They place has gone down hill year and after. From what ive experienced a country club is a place where the staff are so nice they want to get to know you and say hi when you come back and know your name. This place is the opposite of all of that. The employees are their are just their for a paycheck, I see new faces every time im there and management doesnt ask how everything was and get to know you. They stopped serving bread, why, to cut costs? The food is fine. The turkey is the best time to go to this place. The candied sweet potatoes are the bomb. They have valet parking. If you need a club nearby this is one.
