Was here for a wedding last weekend of which I was the best man, here is the exact run down of everything that was right and wrong. First off the place is very pretty and the gazebo looked gorgeous for the wedding. The downstairs bar staff 2 young woman and a young man very nice helpful and the drinks were a bit expensive but were reasonable and good. Thats where anything good ended, first off the woman running the wedding was named Martha and she was an unbelievably terrible hostess. She was rude to the bride, groom, parents of both, to me and to top it off the grandparents of the bride and groom. Next for the large sum of money paid the only food provided were three trays of pasta, spaghetti, mostaccioli, and fettuccine alfredo, which were all sub par at best. Then to finish this beautiful disaster we were told when we all arrived back at the hotel to come back and take down the decorations at 1 in the morning. If you want to have a wedding here just keep all of that in mind.

My wife and I were married November 2015 in Iowa and had the reception at Deer Valley Country Club. We live in the southern suburbs of Chicago and my wife is detail orientated and she wanted everything to flow well on our wedding day. Working with Martha was great she responded quickly to emails and phone calls. Smooth process and everyone enjoyed the evening. We are very happy we chose Deer Valley and highly recommend the facility for their delicious food and fabulous staff. A + for Martha.
