Well, you can tell this place is pretty old as soon as you walk in. Its small, dimly lit, and the hand fans on the ball racks dont work. We came at 6pm on a Thursday night and were told the next opening wasnt until 7:30. We waited around for a while at some lonely table in the corner, since half of the bar area was blocked off for some party. When we finally got our lane, we were told we could do 1 hour of unlimited bowling for $65, or pay $7 per game, per person with no time limit. Since we had four people in our group, we chose the latter because the games would take longer. We ended up playing two games in two hours, which cost $56, so that was a much better choice. The service was good and the waitress kept us well-hydrated. The cocktails were all $11 so I went with PBR tall boys, which were $4.50 each. The turkey burger came with fries and was filling, but was a little bland. We also got the free skillet cookie for checking in, which was LOADED with ice cream! After we were done, we were able to split our check evenly four ways, which was convenient for us. Not a bad place to come if youre in the neighborhood, but with the long wait times you might be better off finding somewhere bigger.

Recently went to 10Pin for a corporate charity event. I had a great time and Ill definitely be back. There are plenty of lanes and lots of space to hang out after work, bowl a few frames, knock back some drinks, and have fun with colleagues, friends, etc. There is a full bar whose prices are in line with other bars/restaurants in River North which is good because places like this can be a trap if youve come to bowl and find out the prices are atrocious. Our event also had catered pizza which was excellent. I was actually shocked at how good it was for a bowling alley. The service was also quick which was excellent especially given that the place was packed. The bowling facilities are top of the line and everything is really clean. My only problem is that the lanes are incredibly cramped. Theres no place for shoes, bags, coats, etc. and each lane only has a high top table with 6 stools that are within arms length of the tables for the lane next door. If all lanes are being used youll feel like a sardine.

I have to admit, I came here for a friends birthday party and got lost. The directions I had I thought were clear, but finding the door proved difficult when I was on the ground floor. Its up set of stairs a little past where you see the sign by the Turtle Lounge. The place was a nice, classic bowling alley without all the craziness you find in some of those places who do the neon flashing lights and loud techno music. The lanes all had music videos showing, and the music was the type I like (rock and alternative), so I was pretty happy with it. It wasnt so loud you couldnt hear, but it wasnt so quiet that you could talk in a softer voice. The food was decent, but not very well labeled. If youre going for the bowling, this place is great. If youre going for the food, maybe check out one of the restaurants around.

"Bowling Lounge?" Gimme a break. Given the address and marketing, I expected this place to be super fancy. Nope. Its kind of a dump. And not in a good way, like Diversey Rock & Bowl. Its dark and dingy, service is way slow, there is nothing to distinguish this place from any suburban old school bowling alley except the high prices. The beer list and food are not up to the level of the location or prices, and service is slow. The bowling is just fine, but why go here when you can go to Diversey or anywhere else for half the price?

This place looked good on paper. It was relatively cheap when I went (there was a deal on Monday afternoon, buy one game get one free). I was displeased with the bowling experience itself. The floor had a lot of friction with the rental shoes, so me and my buddies kept tripping while trying to slide, there was a bump in the lane (lane 13), and the oil on the lanes was not even. The tvs and music were good. Dont recommend this place to seriously bowl just a place to eat, drink, and hang out and watch a game.

Great relaxed lounge atmosphere; gigantic video wall with sports; menu offers American classics with good quality ingredients and preparation. One of the best bars for relaxing in Chicago- its unpretentious yet well appointed and stylish, good varied drink selection and pricing. Shoe service lags occasionally; often full capacity at lanes late at night. Waits for lanes and tables sometimes long. Occasionally spottings of Blackhawks and Cubs.

This place is very nice until you have to pay when you are ready to go they will tax you a lot for two game and dont tell people how the prices go be for they start to play the game and per person per game if you try to double date they will Changer you 80.61 and the price is 6.85 per person per game & 3.85 for you shoes n they tax was 6.71 I feel like they charge to much I will not be come back to this bowling alley again

my sister wanted to have her 16th birthday at Ten pin at about 6:00 at night. My mom called to make sure that they could go at night. the manager said yes. so we got there at like 6:00 and they said "Sorry you have to be 21 or older at this time" My mom got so mad because the manager told her on the phone that it was ok. at this point it ruined her sweet sixteen. But we ended up going to the melting pot instead.

This was one of my best bowling experiences. The atmosphere was great! The massive screens showed the game and different videos. Another nice feature is the separate seating for dinner. You can still see others bowling but you dont have to be in the middle of the action while you are trying to enjoy your food. There is a bar so you have to be 21 and bring your ID to get in.

Cool bowling alley in the heart of the city. I would have given them more stars if their drink prices werent so ridiculous. No only is 10Pin far too expensive (prices are higher than most of the upscale bars in the area) but the bartender on duty the day we were there was pretty rude and not helpful at all. Go only if you feel like bowling.

I hosted a birthday at 10Pin and was pleased with the quick and informative event staff. On site the group had no complaints about the food and bar package although I would recommend that the lounge consider adding healthier food options. The shoes are clean, the lanes are straight and the TV wall adds a nice visual touch.

This place is always a good time! Not your trashy bowling alley from growing up. Its clean, comfortable and everyone is nice. This is a great spot for an after work function or on a weekend. The food is suprisngly good for a bowling alley. You can reserve lanes but you pay a flat rate for 2 hours
