For all of my friends, acquiantances, friends of friends, etc that might be planning a wedding in the Chicago Area. DO NOT waste your time with Bloomigdale Golf Club. After a wonderful consultation with Karen, we felt great about the location and the people. We were told that the date was reserved and that NO ONE else would get that date until she physically spoke to us, not just left a voice mail or an email, but actually talked to us. Yesterday 8/7 we received a phone call from Karen saying that someone else was looking at the room and we needed to call her back. Upon returning her call at 8:30 AM on 8/8 we were told that the room had been sold for our date. After multiple calls both my Fiance and myself got a hold of Don. Neither of us have been treated so rudely and disrespected so much. Not only did he laugh at me, raise his voice and curse at me, but he also said that what Karen, his DAUGHTER IN LAW, was doing was BULLS&*T. He then proceeded to tell me that he had a business to run and hung up on me. I have never been so furious in my entire life. Please help me make as much noise and spread the word about the absurd business practices and disrespectful treatment from an old man and his associates (his son and daughter in law). Please help other people not fall into their trap!

Thank you so much to Karen and her team for giving my husband and I the wedding of our dreams! After looking at several venues, Bloomingdale Golf Club was the obvious choice and we could not be more pleased with how our wedding turned out. I worked with Karen for about 14 months leading up the wedding. I had tons of questions and she would always get back to me in a quick and timely matter. She was so incredibly helpful! We had both our ceremony and reception on site. The week of the wedding the weather turned for the worst, and it rained horribly a few days leading up to our wedding. Karen gave me all the pros and cons, was extremely supportive with whichever direction I wanted to choose. The day before the wedding I called Karen frantically asking if there was any way she could get us a tent so I could still have my outdoor wedding and she was able to get it for us! It was a good thing too, because the rain did not let up. The food was incredible, the room looked so stunning and elegant, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor. We had so many family members and friends tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you!! Kristin & Travis Naber

Everything about our wedding day was perfect and Bloomingdale made it happen. Theres a big difference between a wedding venue that pretends to care and one that really does. Karen and Jeff and their wonderful staff genuinely care about every aspect and it shows. You will not get better or more personal service anywhere. The setting is superb with a huge wraparound deck with views of the golf course. The food was another reason we booked here, its award-winning and everyone raved about it. The steak was outstanding. I was recently here for a gathering of a few hundred people. While the staff was friendly enough, the food served left a lot to be desired. The bread was not even warm and was tough, the chicken bland, the roast beef more fat than beef. I frankly did not enjoy it at all and others Ive spoken to thought the same.

I really like their golf course, however our group had a very bad experience with a grumpy employee. I would never recommend anyone playing here because of the way our group was treated. A golf course is only as good as its track and its people and this place is lacking heavily in one area... in my opinion.

The fairways, greens, and tee boxes were all in very good condition. The course had tall trees lining the fairways and fairly straight holes. There was certainly some difficult holes here as well.

Great place to have an event. Nice size banquet hall, great food and golfing. Ive been there for the Friday fish fry and several weddings. Never disappointed.

Loved it! "The food is excellent!" The grounds are very well kept, very friendly energetic staff. clubhouse is very comfortable and inviting.

Great clean course to play on. Upkeep is fabulous and the views are great. Airplanes are a constant sight as OHare airport is nearby

Fun course. Shorter than other courses in the area but layout gives you options for various shots.
