The course is nice and challenging but some of the staff are pretty rude. We played recently in 103 degree heat and we were chastised from the guy in the pro shop before teeing off for bringing Gatorade bottles. Pretty tacky given the heat. It was so hot, the greens were burnt and the ball wouldnt stop near some of the pin placements. The bright spot was the ranger we had on the back nine. He brought us waters every other hole to stay hydrated. With all the great courses around, Id golf elsewhere.

We had a bridal shower at your facility and it was unbelievable!!! Lisa and your staff were amazing. We will spread the word about the place and the service and hopefully we will be having a baby shower next year at Makray!!!

I didnt use the golf course, but I have had dinner at the restaurant many times and enjoyed it immensely. The ambiance is great as is the food and service. I go there often with friends and clients and I highly recommend it.

Grew up playing in Orlando. Hard to find a decent course that has real distance, soft sand bunkers, well-maintained greens and friendly service. Loved the course layout, challenging and to reiterate well-maintained.

Not sure why its so expensive. Its not that nice. One of the pros, hes arrogant as hell and turned me off at the driving range once when I hit a bad shot. Its a range you idiot. I prefer to play elsewhere.

One of my favorite courses in northern IL. Greens are almost impossibly fast and layout is tough. I love the challenge. The halfway house between 9th & 10th hole has one the best grilled burgers around

The course is difficult but beautiful. The food at the restaurant is good. The only negative is that some of the tee boxes have had a lot of divots taken out but havent had time to grow back.

18 hole revamped layout is nice challenge with lots of contours. Expect some uneven lies. Clubhouse and bar are first class with pleasant staff!

Literally the nicest course Ive played on. Onecomplaint is the greens needed some work. They were hard and too fast.

Went for a wedding. Nice old style architecture. Open layout, good size for a wedding for around 100 people.
