Went as a family to this location to bowl. 4 adults playing, and 1 child. Within minutes of starting out, a pin was knocked off its spot without knocking it over, and the entire lane shut down. None of the staff on hand were able to fix the issue, and we were forced to switch lanes to the other side of the ball return. Half hour later, this happened again on the new lane. This time we pressed the pin reset **which turned out not to work at all** and tried the telecom service button, which didnt connect to anyone either. This place has NO TOUCH SCREENS, its all preset physical buttons, so the options were extremely limited. We were told that they were now shutting down our second lane, and moved us across the building to a 3rd lane. We finished our games here. Caution to all bowlers who use the arrows down the lane- as the reflection from the projector screens DO NOT allow you to see the arrows. Happy Guessing. When we arrived, we also went to the bar to get drinks. At this time, there was only a third of the lanes taken, and not a huge crowd. The people buying drinks in front of us got halted, being told that their POS system doesnt accept cards and wasnt able to complete their drink purchase. After the staff switched POS monitors 3 times, they finally handled the customer in front of us. Now, having waited 20 minutes just to be served, we were then delayed again as the only staff there was also trying to attend the front desk, problems on the lanes, AND calling the PointOfSale company about their issue. Luckily we were paying in cash, and all we lost was our time. Upon finishing TWO GAMES for the 4.5 of us, and going to pay, we were told that our bill game out to $800... the staff looked confused and tried to figure out how many shoe rentals we had- as if it would help. After pressing some buttons and calling a second person over, they came to the conclusion that it was more of the range of $1,000 for the entire night. This turned into a HALF HOUR procedure, to finally get our bill fixed to a normal price. And when i say "normal" i mean like 70$ for 4.5 people playing 2 games. What a rip-off. Most places charge $3ish for a game, this was charging us $5.49 and some $5 for shoes for 3 of us each. I grew up bowling in leagues, and both of my parents doing the same. I never paid more than $8 PER WEEK to bowl in my leagues for 3 games a day. But doing that here, would have cost me over 20$ without tax and with all the issues we had. They introduced touch screens into the bowling setup almost 20 years ago, and this place STILL has physical preset buttons that dont correspond to anything on the TV showing your score. I wouldnt go back here, and I dont advise anyone else to either. I can travel 2 cities away and get twice the service, at half the cost.

I was in from Michigan visiting the Chicago area this past weekend and visited this location with my girlfriend and her family who lives in the area. I was completely disappointed with this visit. To start off I think $5.49 is way too high. Also we were told its cosmic bowling for pretty much any open bowling time slot unless there are leagues going on. As someone who has been an avid bowler pretty much my entire life I dont think this is fair to those who are looking to practice. The lights and screens serve as distractions and to those looking at the arrows the cosmic environment makes it near impossible to see if you are hitting your mark. I understand most people just there to have fun arent going to be as concerned with that, but the way the workers explained that to us didnt seem fair to us. Also near the end of our bowling the blacklight that lit up the pins due to it being cosmic bowling went out so you could barely see the pins. When we brought this to the attention of the staff they were rude and remarked "what do you want me to do fix it?" This was very unprofessional. When youre paying for bowling you expect to be treated with respect and to have things be in good working condition which they were not. The other things that were more minor situations were the approaches were very sticky and needed to be cleaned and the seating area also needed to be swept as we constantly had to clean off our shoes when walking to the approach because there was food/dust/other particles on our bowling shoes which isnt safe when you have to slide. The oil condition of the lanes was the final piece that made this a poor experience. We came early in the morning and based on my 20+ years of bowling experience these lanes hadnt been properly oiled in a while. The overall condition of the lanes/apporach/seating area was not in good condition. Definitely disappointed with this trip and will affect me coming back to this location in the future.

Horrible customer service, a bunch of the arcade games were broken, dont call because nobody answers, very overpriced. Dont look at what it says online because corperate is in charge of that even though their locations phone number says to reference it for deals and hours they DO NOT honor what is posted online! Our family of about 20 went in on Christmas and because it was christmas they didnt want to honor the deal that was posted online . It was supposed to be 11.99 for two hours of bowling and laser tag and a $5 game card. Laser tag was completely closed and they wanted $20 a person for two hours of bowling and no game card even though online said nothing about the holiday affecting the deal and when we called the location, the recording says to reference the website. The cashier rolled her eyes at us and the manager was no help either! Took our business to another bowling alley and got way better deals and service! Weve never had any other major issues besides being charged the wrong amount and some mechanical errors on our lanes and arcade games, but for what they did on Christmas and it not even being busy at all we wont be returning! Great job brunswick next time hire qualified candidates and teach them how to treat customers. It would also be helpful to honor the deals your corporate office puts online and not ruin another families night out together!

A month ago I went there the service was great. Last weekend I took my family and friends there and had a terrible experience. we ordered pizza and beer it took 40 mins to come out. We went up to the bar trying to get a drink while waiting for our food to come out, the bartender didnt even acknowledge us and kept serving other customers and that was at the Bar section. We got called to our lanes and asked for the bumper and never got it. We ordered alcohol and all night and was never told we needed a wrist band. The bartender who has been serving us came to our lanes and asked for our IDs. We told her she checked our IDs already. She told us with attitude that we needed a wrist band which she should have given it to us because it was HER JOB. We ordered captain and coke and a bloody mary and she couldnt get our drinks right. We asked the manager and the manager was as bad. Everyone there seems to hate their job.. Not a friendly atmosphere...
