I stopped playing during prime times because typical round took 5 hours plus. Rainy days, greens under repair or hot afternoons became my time to play. Played today August 12th 2015 around 2:00PM. A nice young man at the clubhouse let me go out to number 10 tee since it was going to be an hour wait getting off the number 1 tee box. I really appreciated that. When I arrived at Number 10 a couple of "Ground Keepers" were relaxing comfortably in their carts and enjoying a nice chat in the shade. As I approached the tee box one of them approached be with a good John Wayne swagger and promptly said "Whats your tee time". When I told him I was sent here by the clubhouse he promptly dialed them up on his cell phone. At the end of his conversation he said I would have to leave the tee box and go back to the clubhouse. So I did and the nice young man at the clubhouse apologize and escorted me to number 7 tee box. I assumed this was to give the two "Grounds Keepers" enough time to finish their chat in the shade. Shortly after reaching the number ten tee box for the second time, I was promptly visited by "Ground Keepers" that strategically positioned themselves around me for the next few holes. Always in play and causing a distraction. As I reached the par 3 number 13 hole they were all gathered up in front of the hole. Not playing as well as I might otherwise without the distractions I skipped 13 and moved directly to 14. I played this hole without interference but by the time I reached 15 tee box there they were again. I guess they were concerned that I was interfering with their work. Im just a Customer so maybe I was. Attention Olde Atlanta... this is not a way to treat long term members. Please spend some of the monthly dues I pay you to educate the Ground Crew on how to treat Customers,

Been playing here for several years. Not a bad course at all...not overly challenging, but very scenic. The cart path could use some love, but they re-did the sand traps last summer (2016) and the course is in pretty good shape in general. The clubhouse was completely re-done in the summer of 2015, so thats up to par with big TVs in many places. The staff are excellent, and the food is good too. Its not quite as luxurious as say The Country Club of Georgia, but for a Club Corps course its excellent.

Great course, great staff, but the range is closed most of the time. Range mats are also sub-standard for being a clubcorp course. Of the Range is open for members convenience and not staff then it is a five star clubcorp location.

Amore Tennis
One of the best Tennis courts facilities Ive seen in Atlanta. I was real impress with viewing spot they have setup. Courts were in excellent condition. Almost felt like I should move to that community for me being Amore Tennis!
