My son had his wedding at Smoke Rise Country Club in this month on April 18th. The venue is stunning and a great place for an event but I must say that the service and the staff were not personable or very friendly. They were did not smile or greet our guest and they were very cold and non-caring. Customer service goes a long way. Several of our guest commented on this and therefore it was not just noticed by a few. Some of the guest were really impressed with the location and ambiance, however, I will not refer them to this venue due to lack of customer service.

This course is one of the toughest courses Ive played in the Atlanta area. One particular hole I recall was a Par 4 dogleg right with a very narrow fairway and OBs on both the left and right. Should you have a chance at hitting the green on your second shot, about 20 yards prior to the front of the green lied a small creek running across. Not to mention, bunkers were on both the left and right of the green. Greens were very fast, which I liked. If youve never played this course, be prepared to tack more than a few strokes on your average score.

We are new to the country club and thought we might feel a little out of place there. Boy, were we wrong. It is very welcoming and "homey". There is a wonderful deck overlooking the golf course where you can sit and have a glass of wine after a hard week. Food is delicious and staff are relaxed, friendly and efficient. The pool and gym are wonderful and uncrowded. You can have lunch at the pool. A great place. Wish we had joined sooner.

Tennis courts are by far the nicest that I have ever seen. Great atmosphere and never too busy to get a court. The pool is awesome and having the poolside bar with a full menu is great too. The golf course is very well maintained and is very challenging. It plays pretty long so bring the big clubs.

A long, narrow, course with fast greens and some really fun par 3s.The Par 5s play very long. You are going to need to be able to hit well off the tee to avoid hitting OB. Also, The carts feature a GPS that shows you distance to greens, hole, and bunkers. Overall, it is a fun well maintained course.

We are new members of the Smoke Rise Counry Club, and are so enjoying our membership. Nancy, the administrator is wonderful and so responsive. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the tennis courts are wonderful. I recommend the club for anyone who lives in the area.

Great hidden gem over in the Smokerise community in between Tucker & Stone Mountain. Always in good shape. Its a good test with some shorter but tight par 4s. I forget about it sometimes. But since its fairly close to home, Ill be over there more often!

Awesome place to meet people and do business. The new GM, Jim Story, was managing the Druid Hills Golf and Country Club prior to coming to this Club. He is doing a fabulous job!

Hilly, love the challenge. Take a cart. Greens are nice. A lot of blind shots. Just cant pull the driver out a bang it. Bring extra balls
