This is a decades-old golf course, and I mean that in a good way - big established trees, but still with a fairly open layout, a laid-back demeanor with people that have worked there for years and recognize the regulars. Its a great value, meaning its very inexpensive but still a good experience. Its more of an "everymans" golf course than just about any other around. No pretenses here.

Brookside is a great golf course to play anytime. You can always get on and the rates are very affordable. The staff are very friendly and you can grab a beer and a great cheeseburger after your round while sitting on the outdoor patio. They also have clean and quiet electric carts. A real asset to the Saline Ann Arbor area.

My wife and I have played this course several times now. Weve really enjoyed it. Its a relatively easy, open course, good for beginners (with the exception of the water in the middle of several fairways). The best thing about it is the price. You can play here twice for the price of other courses. Great value!

I have nothing against this course. The staff is very nice and friendly. My problems with the course are these: very poor course conditioning, yawn-worthy golf, schizophrenic layout, inconsistent greens and few interesting holes. Avoid this course.
