Love that its an actually working farm. Not like other cookie cutter farms that we have been to. They have many animals you wouldnt normally see on a farm (including a giraffe, camels, kangaroos) along with animals that are typical on a farm. Kids love the hayride and petting zoo(you can purchase food to feed them). I like the fact it had real bathroom facilities. You can do anything from a farm tour, birthday parties and Christmas lights in December. I seen some people complaining about pumpkins being brought in during November.( hint: ALL pumpkin farms do this, why you single them out is beyond me). They also bring in top quality Christmas trees (they beat box store trees hands down) that last twice as long, because they are kept in water to stay fresh. I would recommend calling before hand to arrange a time, if you are doing a farm tour. The farmers wife, June is really helpful and answered all the questions we had. Hands down we got to experience more and see more than at any other farm we have went to. Prices ran about the same as other places we had been to. Check Groupon to save on admission prices.

Our experience was horrible! We paid our money to get in (way over priced) and waited forever in line with a squirming child in the hot sun,to get on a hay ride with a toddler we had already promised the ride to, and was stopped by a very rude gentleman who talked to us like we were thieves and liars because they had not given us a wrist band at the front booth where we paid! Instead of calling and confirming we had paid he singled us in front of everyone told us to step out of the paying customers way, continued to load the wagons (mind the waiting is forever) and when we had had enough, and went to leave would not return our money! My 3 year old cried for and hour because he didnt get to go on the promised hay ride we paid for! My family will not ever return to another event at this farm! Horrible experience! I would not even give it one star!

The prices here are ridiculous. Our group paid over $70 to get in and everything but the inflatable slide, the maze of dead rotting corn, and the hayride (watch out for spiders) cost EXTRA. You cant even feed the animals at the petting zoo without paying. These people are making a killing on this scam of a farm. The pumpkins arent grown here, they are bought from SAMs club and sold for double the price. The owner is rude, and his children run all over the farm unattended, they are FILTHY. The inflatables are sitting on a tarp filled with puddles of rain water with extension cords sitting in the puddles! This place is a health hazard and a scam, dont waste your money

We had such a great time here today!! The owners were so very friendly from the start! We had a group of 3 adults and 3 young children. The owners were so sweet and shared so many interesting facts about all the animals. Definitely would recommend getting a pony or two for your group! We were kind of hesitant at first because our children are 1-2 years old but the owner brought a pony out for us to see how the kiddos would react and they loved him!! The owners helped us with our strollers while the kids took turns riding the pony which was so very nice. We will TOTALLY be back again (probably in a few weeks)!! Highly recommend taking your children here!!!!

We essentially paid $45 for a hayride. $12 of that total was for our 2 year old son - all other farms we researched offered kids 4 and under for free. They hay ride was fun, he loved seeing the camels, kangaroos and pigs, however we had to pay $1 in order to feed them. Same with the petting area - $1 for feed. Pony rides, he was so excited about - another $5...what was the $12 for?! Outside of the hayride and animal petting, there wasnt any other experience that seemed to warrant the cost. Granted we did visit on a somewhat rainy day so perhaps there are other experiences we missed due to weather.

We had a blast!!! We went on a field trip today (Altoona Elem) and the kids had such a great time! The staff was so friendly and helpful, very organized and made sure everyone had a great time....They had several field trips going on at the same time and they were able to keep everyone happy and spread out!! I was so pleased with the experience I cant wait to take the whole family! The animals were cute and very well taken care of and the staff was very informative too!!! Thanks for the great memories, cant wait to come back and visit again!!!!!

We went during October. What a waste. The corn maze was the only fun thing there. The hayride took forever and all we really saw was an empty pasture and a storage trailer. No petting zoo, no place to sit, and there werent even any food or drinks available. You cannot call this a pumpkin patch when the pumpkins come in large boxes from somewhere else. On a hot day with no shade, it was a waste of our time. At least we had the groupon, so it wasnt totally outrageous. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

We had a great time here today. 4 adults and 5 kids lasted about 4 hours and loved it. During the hay ride, the kids loved seeing the camels, zebras, pigs and sheep. The kids also wore themselves out on the wide variety of inflatable jumping slides and obstacle courses. There was an entertaining pig race the kids were able to participate in and a pumpkin patch they enjoyed walking through. Petting zoo was full of goats, llamas, sheep and a kangaroo. Id recommend Pettit Creek Farms for any family.

We went today so that I could surprise my hubby with camel ride for his birthday. So friendly and helpful from the very start. Chris showed us around his farm which his family has owned since 1945. He knew so much about all the many animals they have there. We not only got to ride camels for an hour but he took time to answer questions and share back stories on many of the animals. We were both really happy with pur day and plan to return when they do corn maze later in year.

We had a blast at this farm! The owners are very nice, friendly people and the tour guide is very knowledgeable. I would suggest calling ahead if you are planning a tour. They have staff for the tours but the tours are not at set times through the day. We got there at 4 and the last tour had just left. But the owner drove us down to catch up with the group. Take cash, some water and bug spray. They have events for Halloween and Christmas and we plan to go back then.

I was totally disappointed in Pettit Creek Farms. I bought a Groupon to take my out-of-town guests there. The entire place is run down, dirty, and in disrepair. The person in the office said that "maybe" someone was down at the farm to help us...not so much. Nothing was available for us to do....but because of the filth, we would not have done it anyway. Driving onto the property were several abandoned trailers, and some that should be abandoned. DISGUSTING!!!!!!
