LeBam Studio BRIDES BEWARE!! August 2014 Wedding CHANGED TERMS OF CONTRACT 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO MY WEDDING Where do I start? I had a very small wedding. I only invited 100 guests and my wedding was on Sunday. The Venue is beautiful and my first few meetings went well with the owner Marina. I signed the contract which included a DJ, centerpieces, linen and chairs and tables.....HOWEVER, If I would have known what I know now, I WOULD NEVER HAVE SELECTED THIS VENUE. The owner Marina is dishonest. Marina notified me 2 weeks prior to my wedding that the price of the DJ had increased and I needed to pay several more hundred dollars if I wanted a DJ. I was outdone! I reminded Marina Bonner that my contracted rate already included the DJ and in my opinion if a fee had increased then Marina should cover it because we already had a contracted amount. This is where she flipped out on me. She proceeded to tell me that my contract did not include a DJ, and if I wanted the DJ, I would have to give another $300 dollars. I provided her with my contract and an email that she wrote to me several months prior stating that my contract included the DJ. She refused to honor our agreement and continued to state that my contract never included a DJ. Remember this was Two weeks before my wedding I remember thinking this cannot be happening. I told her that she could refund me all of my money and I could go elsewhere. After over an hour of arguing with her She told me that she would not return my money but she would return the portion that I paid her for the DJ and I could find my own DJ...Really?? Why did she just spend over an hour arguing with me that my contract didnt include a DJ when it did (supported by the fact that Marin returned the DJ fee to me)? Thank God for good friends. They found a DJ for me and refused to let Marina ruin my wedding day. DID NOT HONOR PAY SCHEDULE Marina also agreed to a weekly pay schedule. I gave her my card number and she was supposed to take payments every other Friday. Marina would not take payments out timely and therefore would double up on payments because as she told me "She was busy." Ive never known anyone too busy to take their money but apparently she is. I would have to call her to get her to take my payments. If she wasnt able to take the payments timely she should have never agreed to the payment arrangements. PARKING ISSUES - Day of Wedding After my wedding, I found out that on my wedding day my guests had a horrible time locating parking. I had spoken with Marina prior to my wedding and she assured me that parking would not be an issue and that there was a Valet that she and the bowling alley next door share who would be there to assist my guests. I was assured that the parking lot held at least 40 cars and that there was additional parking on a hell at the back of the building. My guests showed up and there was no Valet assistance. The parking lot was full...(not sure by whom because my guests didnt fill it up) Many of my guests parked across the street in another lot and were worried about having their car booted the entire time. Marina lacks communication skills. NO COMMUNICATION/DISHONESTY The only reason I knew about the change in DJ price was because I reached out to Marina concerned that I had not heard from her. I emailed her inquiring as to why she had not contacted me for a final meeting 30 days prior and to go over the final details of my wedding. I was highly disappointed in Marinas behavior. The person I met initially was completely different from who Marina actually turned out to be. I was astonished by her lack of communication, dishonesty and willingness to try and stick me for more money 2 weeks prior to my wedding. For these reasons I would not recommend this venue. Its not worth the poor customer service and headache. A bride is supposed to be happy and as stress free as possible on this most special day.

"Classy, elegant, beautiful, amazing, unique, perfect, well organized and done just right" are a few of the comments my guests gave in response to my wedding hosted at Le Bam on 10/18/15. Some were so impressed that they dont have anything planned but are thinking of events to have just to use Le Bam! I believe we set a precedent in using this venue. Based on feedback, it seems that my wedding will be the topic of discussion for some time! The photographer even said he will be using details of our wedding in his stories of events to remember! As to be expected, there were a few wedding day bloopers but the staff was so accommodating that issues did not put a kink in the day. Shana made sure the show went on and did an excellent job in doing so. Ive been in a wedding were the coordinator felt more like a drill sergeant, but the was not all the case here! She was very professional and friendly even when we out of sync. She kept it classy and did her job well! Even my mother who is very vocal when not pleased gave unsolicited kudos to Shana! I nominate her for coordinator of the year! I will say became a little concerned about a week before that the day might be featured on an edition of worst weddings after reading negative comments about owner Marina Bonder. To the naysayers, I dont know what Marina you met but the one I encountered was quite the professional and very flexible with budget bride like myself. She made my miniature budget appear to be a million bucks! She also referred us to a great photographer. To those looking into this venue, dont let the negative comments deter you. I encourage you to see for yourself! If not, you will be missing out on a gem of venue!

We had our wedding at Le Bam Studio a few months ago and couldnt be happier. The venue is very beautiful and unique with nice furnishings, accessories, and artwork. I had contacted several other venues prior checking out Le Bam. Marina, the mastermind behind Le Bam, returned my phone call within an hour and I had my first appointment scheduled for the next day. It took other venues several days to return my calls and schedule an appointment. Our first meeting went well. Marina listened (and heard!) to everything I had wanted to talk about and answered all of my questions with a lot of patience and understanding. She also helped me to finally decide on a concept for our wedding. She is an extremely creative and talented person and gave me a lot of wonderful ideas for setup and decorations. After just one meeting, I had a very clear idea about how the venue will look like on our special day. During the following months, we regularly stayed in touch to plan my wedding further. She was always willing and made herself available to answer additional questions we had and work our the details. The venue looked astonishing on the day of our wedding. Her staff is extremely friendly and professional. My fiance, our parents, and I could relax and enjoy the most beautiful day of my life with people dear to us knowing that everything will be taken care of by Marina and her staff as we discussed. Our guests were impressed and happy. Thank you, Marina and her staff for helping us to have the wedding of our dreams. Thank you!
