Not even one star and I will explain. I did the research, I looked up this park, I read reviews and everything pointed to this being a good park and nice people. My dog is a staffordshire bull terrier and I know all the bad rep that goes along with this breed but my Tori is wonderful, not aggressive at all, she is actually a big baby that loves to socialize. My dog Tori is a big baby!! When I went to this park and went in, Tori immediately started socializing. Other dogs started to come up to her and all they did was sniff each other but there was this one dog that came up to Tori and started to sniff her, through all of this all Tori did was stand there and take it. This one dog started to growl and bark at Tori, so Tori naturally started to growl back. Then this dog went after Tori and next thing I know they are growling and barking at each other, it actually looked like they were playing, but this women, Im guessing is the owner, started yelling for me to get my dog. I was already in the process of getting my dog, but this women kept yelling to get my dog and while she proceed to kick the crap out of my dog, she was yelling. This woman said, " that dog is a piece of s**t"and then "get that piece of s**t out of here". While she was saying these things this woman kept kicking my dog. I was trying so desperately to get my dog but things were going so fast and they all kept moving around. I am a dog lover, I love all dogs and I would do anything to help one out, so this womans behavior, after repeatedly kicking my dog and calling it a piece of s**t just shows me that she is not a true dog lover. Out of all the people that were at this dog park, not one got up to help, they just sat there and watched. My dog did nothing wrong, she only started to growl when this womens dog started growling , barking and going after my dog. This park is terrible, just terrible and all the people there just sat and watched. None of these people are true dog lovers. This park is the worst park ever. This is why I do not give it even one star.

A Private User

I took my dog to West Park for the first time and it was an all around good experience. The park is large and has plenty of waste receptacles (with bags provided). There are several tables to sit at while your dog explores, water hose and buckets accessible in the middle of the park, and a couple obstacles if your dog is up to the task. There is a separate and smaller section of the park exclusively for dogs under 30lbs. Its easy to tell that this is a well-liked park because it is relatively populated, but not so much that you and your companion cannot have a good time. Overall, I recommend this park.

Great dog park. There is an area for big dogs and another for little dogs. Lots of play area for the dogs to run and very shaded for us humans. There are doggie bags to pick up their little surprises and plenty of water and water containers you can also wash your dog theres a concrete area with hoses and everything to wash your dog and theres a few toys for the little ones. I would suggest this park out of all the dog parks parks Ive been to the best.

This park is tucked away in a neighborhood. It had a large area for small dogs and a huge area for big dogs. Covered picnic table and bench are nice to have at a dog park. Some shaded areas. Parking lot is small, but I have never had an issue finding a spot. Lots of planes fly overhead and low, given the proximity of the park to the airport. I think this is interesting, but can see where the noise may bother some people.

We take our dogs here for the company theyll have. They are tiny min pins and most small dog parks we go to are empty compared to the big dog parks. Something weird always happens when we come here. I guess after a long day, someone talking your ear off while youre trying to watch your dog isnt the best situation. Weve been here multiple times but probably will not return because of the lack of caring dog owners

Very spacious and owners are aware of their dogs most time. Not fresh running water due to budget but you are able to carry buckets to your stations if you are physically able. Not the cleanest in terms of poop control but humans have a responsibility to walk to garbage. Not too many poop stations as well. Over all a pleasant experience for both human and dog

I love this dog park its just blocks from my house and my dog loves it. The only thing i will say is i wish my dog would learn to drink in public. She refuses to drink at dog parks! But this dog park is awesome. Ive never had my dog bothered there. And no one bothers us. I wish i knew a busier time to take her so she could play with other dogs more.

I see ONE review of this saying "gates are locked and no signs" I didnt experience this at all, I vote that dbag was in the wrong area (lost) or after hours. This park kicks major dog tail! My Cricket LOVED it. And since she is the deciding vote it goes two paws way up!!!

Great park. Often youll encounter the same regulars who care for the park and ensure they clean after their dogs. There are the occasional jerks who dont clean after their dogs but thats a reflection on them not the park or dogs themselves.

Very nice park for the dogs both large and small...with fresh water and shade...plenty of playground space for the kiddies...only drawback were the public bathrooms...portopoties, but never the less a wonderful experience for the dogs...

First time here. Very large area for dogs to run. Open past dusk thanks to lighting from the baseball field. Water available for dogs to drink and doggie pool for dogs to put paws in. Pooping bags available to clean up after dogs.

Lots of water, activities and room to run and play for dogs of any size. Plenty of picnic tables and a playground for the kids. Love to walk the trail. Plenty of trees for shade. Great place to take your pets and kids.

Normally go to a smaller park closer to home which is beautiful, but tried this one out today and so spacious and such nice friendly dogs. Will definitely be coming back

Huge expansive park divided for big dogs and small/senior dogs. There were poop bags, wash and water basins for the dogs, and lots of shady seating for the humans.

Really big dog park with enough space for many dogs to play. Areas are kept clean with bags already there. Free parking and kids playground right there.
