Obrigada.

AVOID! A/C SUCKS! LEAVE VOMIT IN THE POOL! DUSGUSTING!! IF 4 PEOPLE ARE IN 1 RM, WE NEED 4 BATH TOWELS!!! So we are on our 4th night here. Have 3 more to go. Dreading it!!!! 1st night called about a/c and they acted shocked about it being 73 of a night in the room so thought okay lets give it another night. 2nd night it went 74 degrees. Called again that a.m. They said well we can have someone check it out or offer you a fan if not better. Slept through it being between 74 degrees another night. Ask for our 1st fan next morning. Now, we have 2 fans in our room and maintenance brought us that 2nd fan after I explained we were between 73-76 degrees of a night every since we got here. Now, funny thing is he flat out admitted a/c comes from 1 unit. They pre set everyones a/c and he offered to turn it down a degree. Laughable. Im in my panties at 53 Yoa and a tank top and burning up sleeping. There are 4 people in our party and weve had to ask for more towels every day because they never give you more than 2 body towels. On the weekends, the parking sucks due they allow locals to park here for a fee of $20. We have had to give our trash to maids to take. They dont just take it. Theyve not cleaned our bedding since we have been here. There are hardwood floors here. Nice but the maids never sweep them. You track in sand of course because you are on a beach yet no one cleans them? So, we put a towel by front door to wipe the sand off. It was over $1500 for a week here with paying a parking pass and resort fee. I feel sorry for my daughter. She paid for us to have a great mothers daughter retreat and I havent complained because I can tell she is already sad weve encounter so many issues. Oh and to get an umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach as a rental everyday is $35 a day. Go to Walmart sport goods get your chairs for $5.97. Mattresses sleep fair. I almost forgot that. 3 out of the 4 ladies backs hurt. So Id look at other places around here but not here. Avoid!!. Good Luck!! UPDATE: SO 4TH night it was 77-78 degrees in our room. I called before we went to bed & advised someone would check on it. No one came. Called again at 5:30 am because couldnt sleep. Told Manager came in at 8 am and would call us. At 9:30 am, no one checked on us. Called front desk and told Manager had 2 meetings. So ar this point, I was past my forgiving and ignoring point. I was very upset. I went to front desk in my nightgown & panties & had them get the manager. After a lot of deliverance of the issue. The manager was very unthoughtful til he felt the heat of our room. He got a tad kinder. He made a compliment towards his wife unlike I guess me who didnt have the ability to be patient and understanding. So terribly rude! He offered taxes and resort fee taken off. He should. A new room with a single a/c unit that should work. Okay?! He should. He came to our 1st room and saw it was very warm then offered us 1 free breakfast at the Houseboat restaurant. Nothing else thou. New room was a tad bigger with a microwave. A/C OK but still was warm. Today, housekeeping came by at 9 am & we were still asleep we were exhausted & ask her to come back in an hour. She never did. I saw the housekeeping manager out. Ask her about it. She said theyd be by. We went to pool. Saw a kid throw up in the pool. A teenager next to child reported it to the pool attendant. Pool attendant told 4 maintenance guys over 2 hours 42 minutes. No one ever cleaned the puke up. It just dissipated slowly as people dived in it and set in it etc. We tried to tell them but hard to keep up with people. So ye, people waded in VOMIT. The pool smelled like urine today also. So we came back to our room that housekeeping still never cleaned. Called front desk again. She said someone would come. Didnt! I found 1 lady left with housekeeping. She gave me a plastic bag to empty all our trash and dirty towels in. She later came and got tgem and gave us fresh towels. Pathetic! Oh & this also was a celebration for my daughters best friend asking her to become her maid of honor.

To whom it may concern,,, or for whatever it’s worth…My wife and I visited this hotel during the memorial day weekend, and with great interest brought our 9 month old daughter hoping to show her the beach and also spend some time at the pool, which she has thoroughly enjoyed at other locals. To my surprise when we arrived at a modest 2pm on Saturday afternoon our room was still not available,,,, no worries as I understand the hectic schedule of hotels during this time. Little did we know the fun was just beginning. We spent our time at the pool while our room was being “prepared” enjoying the wonderful theatrics of Jose Cuervo shot girls pouring free shots, observing a sundry drunk 20-30ish “adults” imbibing to the fullest capacity blending in beautifully with the 40-50 year old annoying idiots reliving their lost youth, all while relaxing to the ear drum thumping sounds of the latest “hits.” After enjoying said amenities for about an hour we decided to invest in our child’s safety and mental well being by taking a walk on the beach which was beautiful, and by the way no help from the hotel getting to the beach. Most hotels (worth their salt) provide access points from hotel to beach that provide the least amount of resistance to the consumer, not make them trudge through a foot of free sand wrestling a stroller. All withstanding my wife and I revived our few free spirits till we actually saw our room which was nothing short of “cute” but almost defined a death defying obstacle for both ourselves and children. We were assigned a handicapped room, and while I can understand the physical structure of building such a laboratory you sure think that maybe at one point they would assume a non-handicapped person might occupy the room??? With that said the enjoyment of walking to the shower uphill through a pool of water (shower sprayed down into a basin that had no drainage which was the only access point) was almost as fun as trying to ice skate with a pair of greased up sandals. After surviving our death defying shower stunts we descended upon “Wildwood BBQ” which is the restaurant a joined to the hotel. The food, service, and atmosphere were great and we enjoyed our dinner which was surely the highlight of the day. We had the KC prepare Ribs, and fresh catch (which was Mahi) and thought both of which were wonderfully prepared and delightfully satisfying. Around 9pm our daughter was fast asleep and while we enjoyed our quiet time for roughly…….ten minutes, it was then thunder foot above us and drunk couple next to us made it impossible to relax. Around 1:30 am we decided that we have had enough and called the front desk, they assured us they would rectify the situation, whether or not any of that happened I have no idea but around 3 am the noise subsided ( or the alcohol was to powerful for their body to resist)and we finally went to sleep. At 7am I left to get breakfast for my family and en route to my destination passed about 100 random beer cans throughout the courtyard, a pile of shaved hair, a completely bloody towel ,and some guy passed out in the hammock. I promptly checked our family out of the hotel. This is just my recapture of the weekend but the bottom line is if you want to take children to this hotel, think twice, if you want to go a hook up with someone, this is your place. Your decision, and unfortunately we made the wrong decision so lesson learned. Never again.
