Fine, intimate venue, even with the flaws noted by other reviewers. Better acoustics than expected (though a little bassy depending on the soundman, a modern trend). Sight lines are good, unless vertically challenged and sitting towards the rear. Rows are (unnecesarily) close together but Ive seen worse; people of challenged girth (of which I am one) should consider taking an aisle seat over something closer (saw the seats for the recent [and wonderful] Justin Hayward show sell this way). As for security, the operators really should warn concert-goers about the wanding and that the "weapons" policy is tighter than that at Federal monuments or many airports. (A one-inch Swiss Army penknife is a weapon requiring a trip back to the car? Really ... ) I recognize that security must be uniform for all events to avoid claims of discrimination but theres no need for a member of the crew to take pleasure in discomfiting substantially older members of a different race and gender. Having said all that, still giving this place 5/5.

If you enjoy fire hazardous conditions youll love this place. No center aisle, which besides the fire hazard means people toward the center have a long arduous trek back and forth when they need to get up--which they quite often do, because the full bar stays open throughout the evening. This means half the audience is drunk with a constant need to pee. The drunkenness leads to rowdiness and your fellow patrons will be chatting with each other (not whispering), yelling at whoever is on stage, drowning out the performers with their own singing and shouting at each other to shut up. Then when it lets out youll be driving on pitch-black A1A surrounded by drunks. All this could be alleviated with a little less greed--a center aisle and a bar that is open only before the show and at intermission. This is how it works at civilized venues. Disgraceful and disrespecrful of the audience and performers alike. By the way from what we were able to hear of the show it was fabulous. $136 for pure aggravation.

We went to see Under the Streetlamp for their Feb 12 matinee. Wow! A terrific performance and a delightful tour down memory lane. The Concert Hall is a wonderful venue; feels like a small town theater with great lighting and sound system. The seats are comfortably padded although a bit tight. The adjacent bar area is large and you can bring refreshments right to your seats. Parking is a cinch and the security is professional and courteous. Whats not to like? We plan on going to many more events at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

I went for the first time to watch Beach House and my experience couldnt have been better. The security was tight, though not super intimidating. Parking was a breeze and the sound was great. It seems like the building used to be a church, but its a good size stage. They usually have a food truck and theres a bar inside and usually outside too. Its pretty deep into P.V., which is the only sorta weird thing. Good shows, good sounds, good times.

Saw Ani DiFranco and opener was Ana Egges. Ana played really quite tunes with her acoustic trio and unfortunately the staff did not close the curtains between the public area, i.e. bar, and the hall. The noise was an imposition during the quieter passages and that was on stage right farthest from the bar, stage left would have been intolerable.

The venue was small enough to be cozy yet big enough not to be a "dive".Due to the size, there really isnt a bad seat in the place. There is a good size bar. The sound system was good and the technicians knew what they were doing. The parking lot is small so, they overflow parking on to the lawn. I would go here again for my next concert.

This venue is an old church. Therefore, its on the smaller side and pretty intimate. The thing I didnt like about it is that it just has folding chairs for seating, and theres not much slope to the floor. If youre on the shorter side, you might have trouble seeing the low stage.

St. Johns county did a good job. I saw Kevin griffin here. Obviously an old church, but the stage and equipment is modern and new. Cant complain about the staff - I believe theyre all volunteers. The $5 parking is kind of a joke, they should just raise ticket prices.

Great space. Small and intimate. Prices were very reasonable for seats and drinks. Have to pay for parking but when your paying an appropriate amount to sit so close I feel it is acceptable. Wonderful time and will come again. Matisyahu brought it hard! Woohoo!

Great acoustics. Small venue so its always a good time. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the food and drinks served here arent great and the artists that play here are usually smaller, less known.

Cant do standing only and when there are seats, they are so close together that you cant put your arms beside yourself - and no leg room at all. They dont stagger the chairs either. Wont be going again.

Nice regional theater complex that sorely lacks street signage to direct patrons to a fine theater experience. Once you do find the Concert Hall and Theater, youll come back for the great entertainment.

They never answer their phone and I cant leave a message. How crazy is that!!! I have been trying to find out if theres an opening act for Rita Wilson in April of 2016. Who runs a business like this?

We saw Rusted Root at this concert hall. It was a fantastic show. The hall is small so you feel like youre right in stage with the band. The sound was great and parking was not a problem.

Intimate venue for a few hundred people so you always SEE who you go there to see. Free parking. Several seating options for when your legs need a rest. Pizza, burgers and snacks.

Great venue, nice acoustics and ablitly to set up lights. I like the space and when everyone is there it doesnt feel overcrowded. I would recommend this place to see a concert.

Great shows. Great bar. Great accoustics. If you have general admission tickets, prepare yourself to stand all night on a very hard floor. Seated shows are likely much better.

Seems like a local church in the middle of nowhere, but actually is a really cool venue. Sound was great, food truck on premises, definitely a cool experience.

The concert hall is a great place to see shows. It is small and intimate. The seats could be spaced apart a bit more but it is a nice little theater.

Saw Dweezil Zappa . Like Frank was channeling all 2.45 hrs. Friday the 13 of Jan 2017 and the best venue on the First Coast for Sound and Stage.
