Ive never been treated so poorly or spoken to more rudely than I was by the door guy and staff at Flagler Tavern!! I am legally disabled and have a certified service dog who goes pretty much everywhere with me. Over the July 4th weekend he accompanied me and my friends to Flagler Tavern. The door guy let all of my friends in ahead of me, and when I got to the door with my service animal he refused to let me in! He told me they dont allow animals in their establishment, and even after I pointed out the blue "service dog" vest my dog was wearing he told me he would not be allowing me in. I tried to argue my point and explain that legally my dog is allowed to accompany me into any "public accommodation", but this man (who by the way stood well over 6ft to my 53 petite frame) came literally inches from me and began trying to intimidate me and "heard" me out the door. Ive never been so embarrassed nor have I ever been so blatantly disrespected by anyone. As I turned to leave, he added that he wasnt going to let me in just because I claim to have a certified service dog. I told him I had my dogs ID badge and paperwork (although by federal law I dont have to provide it) but when I pulled it out he refused to even look at it and told me it wasnt enough. Said the burden of proof lies on me to prove to him that Im disabled!! I will NEVER return to this establishment again and I want everyone to be aware that they apparently think its okay to degrade, debase and talk down to their customers. Youre definitely better off going to one of the many other, classier bars or restaurants in the area!!! Stay away!!

I would just like to say that the Flagler Tavern has done an outstanding job at creating one of my favorite places in Florida. My wife and I recently held our wedding reception (and last minute rehearsal dinner) at Flagler Tavern in December and the Tavern staff did an amazing job facilitating everything. Sherman one of the owners was incredible and a wonderful host. All of the staff did an excellent job before, during, and after. My wife and I will be stopping in every time we go back home for sure! Their prices were great compared to other reception options and catering costs. As well they were able to roll with the punches the entire process through. One example of their awesomeness was another business in the area basically hosed us the morning of the rehearsal dinner with the meals forcing us to find a new location and since Flagler Tavern was already doing the reception dinner we gave them first shot and the tavern happily accepted the morning of the dinner. Not only were the staff some of the best business owners and managers I have ever had the pleasure to meet their food was great and the atmosphere was awesome. Great job all around!

Horrible service! Denied DRINKS!!! My husband was told he could not have any drinks even though he had his Florida Government Issued Concealed Carry License, which has his picture and birthday on it. The waitress and manager tried to say they could only accept a DL license. What BS! Not only is he clearly well over 21... he has proper government identification. Then they proceeded to get an attitude when we asked why the government ID with a picture is not enough. This is when I was seriously shocked on how they treated customers. I cannot believe that they would have so much attitude about a question. The waitress also was very sarcastic when we asked a simple question about the appetizers. This establishment has a problem with being respectful to customers, especially those who have a proper and legal ID and want to enjoy a drink with their dinner, meal ruined! Never coming back again.

First time in town. Was recommended this place by hotel staff. Good ambience but thats about the only positive. First sat by the very far bar area. Two bar tenders so I figured I get fast service. Boy was I wrong. One left soon as I sat down, the other bar tender was so engrossed in cutting lemons he didnt didnt even see me. Left after few minutes. Moved to the front where I flagged down a waitress. Ordered $24 prime rib. Description says 14 oz of prime 1" thick Floridan beef... sounded good so ordered medium rare. What I got was not DEFINITELY as described. First it was only 1/2" thick, tough, lots of grizzle, and so bad I had to get steak sauce. It seems worst prime rib Ive ever had. Needless to say will not be returning.

Flagler Tavern has undergone a complete transformation and it is stunning! This place has always been one of our favorite hangouts, but even more so now. The new menu offers an extensive selection of goodness. A few of our favorites include the Chicken Bacon Gorgonzola flatbread, Rock Shrimp, Holy Cow Burger, and Fishermans Pie. Theyve also added new Specialty Cocktails such as the American Mule with organic vodka, fresh lime juice and ginger beer, which is divine! If you havent been to Flagler Tavern in awhile, head over and check out the upgrades. Its a beautiful place with lots of cool things to look at while youre enjoying your meal or sipping on your favorite cocktail.

Even though I run the Bounty Bar upstairs, I love the place as a whole. Upstairs, honestly, has the best craft cocktails of any speakeasy concept Ive ever been. And by far is the least expensive. The second floor balcony allows for amazing people watching and you can see the ocean during the day. Downstairs has live entertainment every day and the food is not what youd expect. Daily chef specials are amazing. The fish offered is all wild caught from the Americas and the beef used in the burgers and ribeyes is local and without chemicals or hormones! Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent prices!

This was probably the slowest service and the worse food I have ever had. The chicken kabob, the chicken wasnt thoroughly cooked, the hamburger was a little too pink, the Cole slaw was cabbage with no dressing and the fried calamari was so undercooked it was like chewing gum. We got seated about 1:15 pm and did not leave there until 3:45. It took 1 1/4 hours for our food to be delivered. It may be a nice place of you want to go in and just drink and have appetizers but meals are terrible

went with my girlfriend for some live music and drinks. left from Ormond, a 30 min drive, to get here. Im 21 and my girlfriend was 20. she wasnt drinking. they asked us to leave since my girlfriend wasnt 21 and it was "illegal" for her to even be on the premises. little do they know its NOT illegal, it was purely company policy. I even explained to the manager we drove a long way to see a friends band and she didnt give a damn, I even said Id buy food. Never going back

The new owners have really done some great things with this place! Though under construction while I was there, my ability to come in and have a good time was never hindered. Prices are a little high, but with the vibrant staff and great location, its to be expected. The new Pillar Bars specialty drinks are top notch. I never ordered a meal here, but if they match the appetizers at all, Im sure theyre exceptional. I frequent the NSB area and will return with friends.
