Un très bel endroit avec de magnifiques jardins ! Nombreuses espèces de plantes et différents espaces (jardins a la française, vue sur la baie depuis la terrasse....). Lintérieur du palais est intéressant à visiter. Un peu cher (18$) mais la visite vaut le coup, en particulier pour les jardins. Pour info, assez facile daccès sans voiture depuis South Beach : bus 120 sur Washington avenue puis métro Government Center jusquà Vizcaya. A very nice place with beautiful gardens. A lot of different plants and a great view on the bay from the terrace. The inside of the palace/museum is interesting. A bit expensive but worth it for the gardens. Easy to access with public transportation from South Beach : bus 120 and metro from Government Center to Vizcaya station.

Eu adorei este lugar!! Sem palavras para descrever, recomendo muito comprar o "áudio tour" para digitar o número de cada área da casa para entender melhor a história! Aqui você pode apreciar a ambiciosa idéia de James Deering, um milionário da época que depois de aposentado decidiu se juntar à Paul Chalfin um grande artista da época, quando as duas mentes brilhantes se juntaram, uma grande mansão foi criada! Tudo tem um motivo lindo e inteligente na casa, as decorações são lindas, com detalhes grandes e pequenos maravilhosos! Já no século XX quando sua casa foi construída, já tinha piscina começando em uma gruta feita à mão. Comida fina, preço ótimo, com uma grande variedade! O gift shop incrível, convido você a dar uma paradinha lá...

Enjoyed the museum and the views but was disgusted with the out of control price gouging in the store there. I went to buy a magnet which is a thing I do just about everywhere I go and they wanted, wait for it...... Over 15 dollars for it! This was like a bulk item that you order from China. The mansion is beautiful but when you are viewing something beautiful you dont need stuff like that to cloud up the experience. I went to forget about our sick world, not be reminded of it. Needless to say everything there was like that and they are also weird about you taking pictures inside the mansion. Now lets think about this for 1 second, beautiful setting, you might want to take a photo? Better memorize it or sneak a pic. I think that if someone isnt using a flash it shouldnt be a big deal but thats fine by me because I most likely will not return. A good portion of the estate never recovered after Hurricane Andrew... I visited it once when I was young and it seems a fraction of what I remember. Also donation bins? I guess the 15 dollar magnets dont sell enough to maintain the upkeep. If you are looking for something like this thats worth it, I suggest the Biltmore estate in Ashville, NC.

Una residencia soñada, nos remonta al romanticismo puro. Decadentes los jardines escasos de flores y eso que en la magnífica casona hay un cuarto donde siempre el dueño pedía al jardinero tenerle arreglos florales para embellecer el interior de casa. Las fuentes muy regulares necesitan arreglos locativos - algunas piletas están muy sucias llenas de hojas y agua muy oscura. En la piscina tienen que quitar toda la maleza que esta llenando la pared de la misma. La comida muy rica y no es caro.

Lo mejor de TODO Miami... al menos para los que no van solo de "shopping". Su arquitectura majestuosa, su historia, los adelantos que tiene fascinantes para su época, no te dan los ojos para verlo todo! Sus jardines son un tema aparte! Considerados de los mejores del mundo! Y no en vano! Es para ir con tiempo para poder disfrutar de todo el lugar porque es grande. Su embarcadero privado es una obra de arte! Este lugar es una parada inevitable en la Ciudad!!!

Tuvimos que esperar 1 hora y mas para entrar, no hay baños afuera que se puedan ir, y cuando hablas para entrar al baño te exigen el ticket. Bastante desagradable mi estancia alli. Ya que tuve que salir con mi hijo a buscar un baño al el que el pudiera ir. No lo aconsejo para familias con niños ni sin niños. Pienso que deberian habilitar baños afuera para las largas filas que se hacen para entrar.

The estate is beautiful and very educational. Staff were well educated with the estate. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because there is Military discount but they do not apply to dependants or spouses of military personnel. The staff member that took my payment chuckled and said oh you are a spouse it doesnt apply to you. Which is really sad because yes spouses do not go into danger but they are the ones who support the military personel they take care of the home front while they are gone they take care of the children and raise them on their own while their partners are fighting for this country. For me, honestly I dont care about the discount but to make it seem like the spouses and dependants of those that serve our country dont matter is truely sad.

Die Villa Vizcaya ist ein Schloss, welches im europäischen Renaissancestil nachgebaut wurde. Für Europäer ist ein solches Gebäude nichts ungewöhnliches, aber für Amerikaner natürlich schon. Die Villa kann man sich anschauen - man erfährt einiges interessantes über deren ehemaligen Besitzer. Was aber absolut sehenswert ist, ist die riesige wunderschön gepflegte Gartenanlage.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage die man sich unbedingt ansehen sollte wenn man vor Ort ist; toller europäischer Baustil der bei uns in Europa desöfteren zu sehen ist. Für Amerika schon etwas besonderes. Schöne Gartenanlage die noch immer sehr groß erscheint (wenn auch diese früher ca. 6x größer war). Ein wenig "echte Kultur" in den Staaten, echt top!

Уютный и аккуратно оформленный парк. Излюбленное место для проведения фотосессий, бракосочетаний и других торжественных мероприятий местных жителей. Сама вилла достаточно мрачная, но красивая. Ничего подобного в Майами вы не найдёте. Из-за повышенной влажности воздуха трудно поддерживать музей, многие гобелены увидают на глазах.

Ótima opção de passeio cultural, possui mapa e áudio explicativo em português, tudo muito bem cuidado, arquitetura e decoração moderna para a época ainda em perfeitas condições, um belo e imenso jardim. Passeio para no mínimo 2 horas, mas indico separar uma parte do dia para aproveitar mais todo o lugar.

Were there any other antiquities to visit in Miami, this would be a 2 star, or less, attraction. If you are in a wheel chair, dont go. There are no ramps and wheel chairs cant go to second floor. Gardens: in mid-April there were no flowers, only bushes. Behind the home, the boat basin was filthy with cans, styrofoam and slime. The decor is an amazing collection of Europe, 1500-1900. All of it is shabby and worn. None of the original beauty has been restored. It would take a fortune to bring it to the standards of San Simeon or a European castle. If the current owners havent the funds, it should be sold to those who do.

Antica residenza in stile rinascimentale con tanto di porticciolo per lattracco di piccole imbarcazioni. E una villa-museo con mobili ed opere darte dell800 ma vale la pena visitarla anche solo per ammirare larchitettura interna ed esterna di questo edificio. Dal giardino si può vedere lo skyline di Miami.
