The wetlands are a beautiful place to go. Theyre open until 8 p.m. every evening. If you want to walk the different areas that they have to see the wildlife you can or if you want to drive you can also do that as well. You can stop along the way and take photos or just sit on one of the benches and watch the wildlife. Last time we went there was a rare bird that was spotted by many of the photographers that just happen to be there taking photos with the rest of us.They actually thought this bird had been extinct and it hadnt been seen in several years. It was awesome!!!

Viera Wetland Lover, and Photographer! I visit Viera Wetlands about once a week. I have seen many, many animals. Not all on one visit. The hotter it is the more animals you see. The colder days i saw an Otter. Rare sight for me. Gators Galore for Viera. I love seeing all the different birds to Hawks, Caracara, Osprey, Eagles.

Viera Wetlands is one of the best natural places in Florida. This place is full of birds and other animals include gators and Armadillos. You can have a lot of fun in this place especially if you are a photographer or just love nature.

Except for some alligators, not much to see year around. Busy place too and I am not sure for what? Ur typical egret, waterfowl, birds u c every day around here. Not getting it.

Excellent Birding location. You can drive around the impoundments (or walk). Lots of birds, especially in the winter. Good spot for Limpkins & American Bitterns.

Wonderful peaceful place for bird watching and wildlife. Great drive trail. I was there at dusk in January. Will definitely go many more times to de-stress!

First time here and will be back. You can drive or walk around the loop. Saw so many different birds. Even saw a small gator!
