Been here a couple of times. Great field, usually clean, cheap ticket prices, and there are good special nights like dollar beer Thursdays. What I dont like is the crappy prices for regular beers and food. I wouldnt complain so much if the prices actually matched the quantity of food you get. If youre going to charge us high prices for food at least give us a good portion of food like movie theaters do. I also dont like that almost everything must be paid in cash. There are easy ways to overcome the cash only issue now a days like using stripe.

Theres a reason why this baseball stadium has held the league attendance record every year since it opened in 2003. Its a beautifully designed, well-managed, centrally located sports facility — home to a successful, well-liked ball club that has won 3 of the last 6 Southern league titles. And as weve watched our team turn into a double-A dynasty, our ball park has quietly become one of Jacksonvilles greatest treasures.

I loved attending the Jacksonville Suns games and so much loved how they were kind enough to play a game with my sons Miracle League team. Im very unhappy that they removed the childrens playground and only left the burning hot bounce houses that you have to pay extra for and cant even see the field from. I havent attended half as many games this year for that very reason.

If I could say 1 thing have concessions for just drinks....Especially draft beer. Making people stand in line 15 people deep for a beer costs you sales....The park itself very nice....I understand the AA draw not great but its Fathers Day. Have a school band with a 100 members do the national anthem.....That will put 200-300 extra people in the stands.

Great ballpark. Not a bad seat in the house, really. I applaud their ticketing rain out policy. Docked a star - easily - for crappy food. The only things in the house worth eating are at Azars (awesome) and the pulled pork. The "shrimp po boy" is literally two pieces of damp toast with 6 shrimp - nothing else. The hamburger is like a roof shingle.

Excellent day with my sons here watching the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. We enjoy this location because its a fun atmosphere (cheering and waiting for foul balls to catch), and because we think the prices are good. The grounds were very clean. Google maps sent me here with relative ease. Parking structures are not free. I believe we paid $10.

Baseball is a great way to waste a perfectly good afternoon or evening. And thats a good thing. $9 tickets. Reasonably priced dogs and soda and, in comparison to major ball fields, even beer. Great seats are usually available. Go online and print them. Take you best guy or gal, or plurals of each. Sit back and enjoy. How easy is that?

Community First Park - Home field for the Jacksonville Armada FC. A great location downtown in the sport complex of Jacksonville. They convert the Baseball grounds to a pitch for the matches. The concessions arent always open which is annoying. Parking can be a problem. Plan on waiting awhile to get out after the match.

The Baseball game, seating, and atmosphere was all great. I was there for a company sponsored event that reserved a deck in which lunch was provided by the baseball grounds. They hamburgers and hotdogs were very cheap (fake grill marks on the hamburgers) . All in all, it was a fun atmosphere to hang out with friends.

Thirsty thursday is the best, but ony if your a college age who likes cheap beer and doesnt mind it spilt on you. Oh and if your out at the bleachers, forget about watching the game, its too crowded. If you really want to watch baseball and have a great time go on another night, they have alot of awesome specials!

If you are in Jax you need to go to a SUNs game. The stadium is very nice and they recently upgraded a majority of the concession stands. They have dollar beers on Thursday and fireworks on Friday. If you are looking to have some fun without spending a bunch of money, you should check this place out.

One of the better minor league ballparks I have had the privilege of visiting. The stadium is very nice and the fans were too even though I was wearing the visiting teams apparel. The fans of the Suns showed up and filled the place up which was good to see. Will definitely visit again!

Just a great experience! The price of a ticket is just crazy cheap, $50 for the five of us! The concessions are good and reasonable prices. One of the games we went to, we just watched the entire game from the Tiki terrace! Overall, just a great place to watch baseball.

Fireworks, kids can run the bases on certain days, very family friendly with a playground in the outfield area. You can bring lawn chairs for the Berm area. Home team pitching warm-up area is easily accessible to kids. Great place for birthday parties.

Love the tiki bar they added, Thirsty Thursday has gotten even better they do bigger beers and offer doubles for $2 so you dont have to go back so often. Lines werent incredibly bad and the stadium was clean. We had a great time at the game!

I find baseball to be very boring but the Jacksonville Suns... I mean JUMBO SHRIMP do a good job of putting on events to draw in crowds. The bring your dog day is very cool and date night is a great idea. Keep em coming guys.

Great ballpark! Lots of food choices. The lines stay long so Id suggest getting there a little early, getting your seats, then plan to stand in line. They also have great choices in craft beer and serve mixed drinks.

The last time I checked, it costs the same to make beer no matter where it is served. Why does the City of Jacksonville constantly want to charge so much for what you can get anywhere else for a fraction of the cost.

The staff there were so wonderful. No one seem to hate their job everyone was so excited to be there even though it was 97 degrees outside. The concessions were really expensive but the experience was priceless.

A very nice baseball stadium! Well maintained, clean, a good selection of vendors, and family affordable! Parking was easy and affordable as well. Bring cash for parking though, not many ATMs near the stadium.

Beautiful little park, close parking, and decent prices make for a nice baseball experience. Be sure to try the fried shrimp! Theyre delicious. Tickets for most Jumbo Shrimp games are less than $10.

Great place to wacth baseball and soccer. Good and prices are good also. Only thing is I wish their seats were updated .. Maybe even add more seating options. Other than that this is a great park .

Great family fun. Baseball as I remember it as a kid. Grandsons brought their Mitsubishi to catch a foul ball or toss out by a player. Enening games much better due to heat.

Such a fun place. Im so glad they show love to the Boy Scouts of America, even letting the Cub Scouts to camp on the field and watch a movie on the big screen. Great times!
