Went to Davincis for the first time last weekend with a group of friends. I was impressed as soon as I walked into the courtyard, the live music that night was good too! I pretty much was the last to leave, and unfortunately I forgot my birthday present (wind chime and wine charms) there that my friend had given me. I called the very next day when they opened and was told that they had it but the wind chime was missing a piece. Confused, I asked her how that happened and she replied in an uncaring "I dont know." I told her that I would be there the following day to pick them up. The next day I get there a few minutes after they opened. I saw the bartender, who waited on me the night I was there and also the one who I talked to on the phone about my stuff, and told her that I was the one who forgot the gift bag. The wind chime was hanging up behind the inside bar and she "could not find" the wine charms. She said she sat them on top of the half wall by the door entrance the day I had called. I told her that if they were open and there were people there then it should have been put away. She didnt seem to care, didnt say sorry, was pretty much "yeah" an I dont care attitude. I asked her where the gift bag was because I wanted to see if the missing piece to the wind chime was in it and she said she threw the bag away (which also had my birthday card in it). Why would she do that? If you find something, you keep it in the bag and put it in a safe place. She said she texted the bosses wife to see if she had seen the wine charms, I left my number for her to call me if she heard anything back. Yeah, never got a call and I am sure they were "stolen". Anyway, cool place, but I wont be going there again. I dont like to spend my money at an establishment that has employees that are not trusting. And if this seems trivial to some, then so be it, have fun. Just make sure you dont forget anything there...you wont get it back.

Cafe DaVinci is the best bar the town has to offer. Im mentally disabled to many people who frequent this amazing bar, but thats okay. Im similar to a kid taking a gifted ink blot test and only seeing tits, just kidding, maybe not. The owner must be an entrepreneur of life to create such a melting pot of culture, selection of booze, and musical diversity. This bar causes out of town, open minded humans to invade the historic, old money controlled district to try something new. With the most talented bar tenders, differential atmosphere, and every form of life, this bar is for the record books. You wont get better than that in a 50 mile radius. This place will make history with the amazing staff and ownership, and the respect they give each other. If you want to experience the best, and you like to party, this is the only place. Cafe Davinci set the new bar.....literally.

I love this place, it is a good night out with a great mix of people. Whether you are college age or older, you can feel comfortable coming here for drinks and to relax and listen to some live music. It does seem to get quite busy but finding a seat isnt usually a problem. The majority of this place it outside so weather plays a big factor and summer heat or rain can clear the whole place. They do have an inside area, but it is mostly standing room only with 1 pool table. Bathrooms are clean and well lit. It is a great DeLand hangout spot.

I remember when DaVincis was cool... Iv been going for fifteen years. Its not cool anymore. If you like loads of attitude in your servers, overpriced drinks, a weak wine selection, and a dull B-grade music scene, heres your place! It used to be much better, but over the years, its gone from a cool place to hang out, and now is a townie, anti-gown place. There are much better places to go, where youll be welcome, if youre not 60, a biker, and covered in tats. If thats your scene though!

Went to Cafe DaVincis which usually has an awesome atmosphere.....however not last night. My friends and I were playing music off of the Jukebox, and out of now where here comes a staff member turning the music down drastically. Then we get accused (which is highly inaccurate) of turning the system back up, since we were the only ones who complained about it. So everyone beware, before you put your hard earned money into that ripoff machine.

Open and airy met lots of really nice people...was there for the Mothers day brunch...food and music excellent...music a little loud which made it difficult to have a conversation with anyone... Food was service quickly and efficiently...had a great time and wouldnt hesitate to come back...

If you have the chance to go to Rome or Cafe DaVinci, choose the bar. Its the most amazing bar in the history of the world and the blonde bartender with the bulldog Jake is a philosopher and conversationalist rivaling Aristotle.

The Neighbors Taco stand at Cafe Davinci is not to be missed. Great variety and made fresh to order. My favorites are the mushroom, fish and shrimp tacos. Grab your tacos and get a drink from the outside bar. Yummy!

Just left Da Vinci - why? The band Simplified was supposed to start playing at 9:30. We left at 9:45 and they STILL were no playing. What a joke. Management needs to pay attention to this kind of bulls**t.

Great hangout place. Diverse crowd (from seniors to highschoolers, hipsters to nerds). Very chill, with some solid music. 6 or so beers on tap. Can sit and have a chat, or get into the music

Love it here. Great local selection of beer. Great little taco truck on premise, and the outdoor patio is awesome. Great place to hang out during the day or night for conversation.

Love this place. A little pricey on the drinks, but when youre this close to Stetson, its normal. Always live bands on the weekends. Would definitely recommend you stop by.

Excel night spot for mix crowd. Really enjoyed my first night out in Deland, Fl. This established place will make any stay here fun. O and the drinks are reasonable to.

I loved it here. The reggae band was amazing. It was a bit hot outside but other wise I had fun. Dress in shorts and casual, in the summer, it is a mostly outside venue.

The coolest nightlife place in Deland. Cool music, funky decorations, very popular. Not your ordinary place. You have to pose in front of the angel wings.
