I have been playing this course for over 4 years now. In the beginning it was not great. Fairways were not in good shape, most greens were not in good shape and tee boxes were the same. There was some improvement at one point when they actually had a professional working there. After months of not playing there or practicing there I decided to go today and check it out. It got worse again. The course from looking at it does not look too good. The putting green was more a chipping green. Needs some care. The chipping area is gone. Range tees are mostly sand and no level spot to find. The club house I always liked and it did not change. Old , but cozy. Service at the counter was unfriendly with no smile. Range balls are over due to be replaced. Price for a large bucket is too much for what you get. But they have a punch card, which makes it ok if you come back, which I will not for a while. Maybe they improve and hire another professional. They sure could use some help there. It is sad. This could be a great facility. Lots of potential. If you seek a cheap round of golf, wait until summer rates come along. Then it is ok. At the same token, you can play at some other courses all day for 25 bucks and they are in better shape.

This is a share owned facility. Many shares are owned by folks who dont play golf, but have invested in it to keep commercial/housing developers from closing it down. Improvements have been made to make it a friendly place to learn/practice/league play. Keeping the grill open in the "snack shed" is a priority as well as many locals congregate there for breakfast and lunch. Love the place!

Executive course. Best shape in decades. Ideal for the emergency golf fix. Tiny greens. Best place to go for beginners. Peridia and Pinebrook Ironwood are the best in town. Challenging layouts and lightning fast greens.
