The owners are two of the most kind and welcoming people Ive ever met. You go there and instantly you dont feel like you walked into a strange store, but rather that you went to visit a friend. The tasting is HIGHLY recommended, but I warn you youll most likely end up wanting to buy one of every wine you try. The most delightfully surprising wine of the group was the blueberry wine. I love sweets. And I do enjoy sweet wines, but sugary or syrupy wines are not what Im partial to and most blueberry wines are just that. Hutchinson farms winery has a blueberry wine that s absolutely perfect. The only sweetness comes from the blueberries themselves and its incredible. Fully intend to make their wines presents for friends and family this Christmas.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. John & Sherry were gracious hosts and gave an excellent tasting. Every wine we tried was exceptional. We bought some of every kind and look forward to another visit in the future. We walked some of the vineyard after the tasting and tasted some of the fresh grapes (muscadines) right off the vines!

Beautiful grounds, excellent wine. The owner, Sherry, is friendly & knowledgeable. I really liked the small, homey atmosphere. Just my kind of place. She gave one on one attention to the three of us that came together. This is not an uppity place like some of the bigger wineries. We will definitely be back when the vines are in bloom.

Very nice atmosphere, great service, and the owner gives a very good description of each wine. We ended up getting the Rose wine they offer, it was very delicious. Would recommend checking this place out.

The wine is unique, well priced, and delicious. The owners are knowledgeable and nice. Plus they have dogs that rest by your feet while drinking wine on the porch.
