I have been bowling here weekly for almost an entire year and I loved it. The staff was always so nice and bowling was very enjoyable. Now they are remodeling and hiring new people and it just really ruined my bowling experienced. I was sitting at my lane once we were called, waiting for it to be turned on, and I went to the front desk and the lady gave me a terrible attitude saying "You need to get your shoes first" but I had brought my own bowling shoes, as I do every week when we see her. Also, they removed their ordering station to encourage ordering with lane waitresses, but our lane waitress kept walking around talking with another co-worker, and it took her multiple passes to finally stop and talk to us. I have went from bowling here every week with groups of sometimes up to 12 people, but we now know to take our business elsewhere. Especially with the newly raised prices.

The reviews on this site are really old so heres a new one. The AMF Milford Lanes was recently renovated both in and out. The new modern décor and monitors are great (Im not a fan of the older, dirtier alleys). The staff is awesome and were always greeted with a smile. There are always a number of events going on like discounted week nights and the occasional Kidsfest. It is a popular league alley so I would call ahead for availability. But even on most league nights, theres room for you to have fun. My children enjoy the AMF Milford Lanes and its a great place to bring friends, co-workers, and family for a great time. My only issue (although its not really an issue for most) is that the café doesnt have a lot of healthy food options.

My wife and I tried to go bowling there, but our lane was malfunctioning in a major way. After numerous attempts to salvage the evening, we decided to call it quits with 7 frames to go. We wanted a refund. The manager said it was policy not to give cash refunds. She was adamant. She first tried to settle the debt with a SCRATCH TICKET! Imagine that... She finally gave us two free game passes (one game for me, and one for my wife). We were driving and a mile away and we noticed the "free games" did not include shoe rentals! So, the refund was NOT CASH, and the refund was NOT APPLES TO APPLES. These guys really milk it for all it is worth. Maybe they should fix their sign...

Fun bowling spot that was recently renovated. The computer system is fun to mess around with as you can add a picture of yourself with your name. There are also different themes to choose from. Night bowling is fun and you can grab a beer from the small bar (they have beer towers!). The food is nothing special, but if you want some fries and chicken fingers this place has it. I went with a bunch of family and we had a blast. Get there early because it does get crowded.

Bowling was fun and the waitress service is nice. It is extremely over priced. We had a group, they ask that you put one card on file and everyone can pay however they please at the end (sounds great right?). All of our friends payed their own way and I still ended up with 100$ bill and paying for, what my receipt said, a 7 people game charge. Feels like a good way to scam people. It was late and my fiances birthday so I just took it and went home. Thumbs down.

Poor professionalism and staff rude it took forever to get food and beverages and bartender should be able to get a pitcher of water. And rude remarks against customers and myself . no soda and poor service. Bartender should be fired. Bad performance from her and she should loose her license permanently. Staff uncooperative I lost interest to bowl there and I will report it to the management.

Really disappointed with the management and the way they treat clients who come in with there children early in the day. Giving excuses on why they cant accommodate to members in there own leagues. Collin was the manager on duty so if you go In when hes there you minds well go to amity or duckpin in west haven. Better service!!!

Updated and clean bowling alley. Came here in the middle of a weekday and it was surprisingly expensive - almost 30 dollars for total of 4 games a 2 pairs of shoes rentals. They have some pretty good deals though for people who frequently go. Looked like they had a good variety of food options, but we didnt try any.

Lady at the desk had terrible attitude! Makes me not want to come back. She accidentally charged us more knowing we couldve gotten league tickets after we had already told her. Then instead of apologizing she said we get a million people here you shouldve reminded us. Terrible!

Nice place, terrible service and staff. Was told multiple times a server would come to my table but they never came and after an hour I went to the concessions stand only to get attitude in return. Went for a friends birthday party, would never come here on my own decision.

Went on a Tuesday and had a blast. Great crowd and atmosphere. My lane stop working about 5 times and the front cashier had to reset it. Finally after the 5th time he said he will switch our lane "23" if it happened again. Once it stopped again we decided to just leave.

Great place to bowl. However i dont understand the pricing. Why would you charge per person per hour if everyone is on the same lane? I went with one other person and we paid 1/2 as much as the people next to us for the same amount of bowling, since they had 4 people.

We had a fun night of bowling until we went to pay and they charged us for the same 2 people twice and then told me that I had to call back in a couple days because they couldnt figure out what happened then! Total joke and the "GM" Steve is even more of a joke!

Way too expensive, unless youre in a league or can go at certain time blocks that are really unrealistic. When trying to pay, the guy tried charging me again after I told him I paid the manager. He didnt believe me... first and last time going!

Theyve really updated and renovated this place. Its a very nice facility. It seems to cost a little more than other bowling alleys, but it comes with all the bells and whistles. The bar is fine, perhaps a touch expensive.

Terrible service . People at the counter and concession stand extremely rude. Just wanted a cup of ice after i spent 45$ to bowl and 20$ at the bar. Great customer service HA. Wish I could give less then 1 star ..

Terrible the prices are way too expensive i have never spent that much to bowl if your going to have prices of such there should be an inclusive package of some kind who ever makes those prices has to be on drugs.
