The Orchards course is a quaint 9 hole design (comparable to a par 3 though technically its not) which is an okay deal for the money and quick ease of play before or after work. The greens are normally in okay condition (on the slow side) and the fairways are large and forgiving. The design of the course also provides ample room for error so errant shots are not immediately endangering other players. Weekend afternoons typically move faster as Ive experienced versus weekday morning play due to a number of senior players that regularly go during the week. There are no golf carts on this course and the only practice area is the putting green. Ample parking and ease of getting there are also pluses. If youre an average handicap, you can get through well under 2 hours.

Great short course. Lots of iron work and a full drive on #9. A couple 90 degree doglegs requiring layups, and some very short par 3s. Great for beginners.
