I brought my mother and family here for Mothers day and was severally disappointed. The castle itself is very beautiful and the staff was very friendly. However, for a 50$ brunch the quality of food and beverage was extremely lacking. I asked for butter for the one roll left that I was sharing with my mother and they could not accommodate me. How do you not have butter in house? The crepe station was minimal and bland to say the least in addition we were rushes to eat. A tour of the castle was included in the brunch, which may contribute to the cost, however, we did not stay and made reservations for another establishment.

My experience with this organzation was very unsatisfactory. I dutifully made reservations and then through an emergency was unable to make the appointed date. I called well in advance to let them know. They would happily RESCHEDULE my reservation but flatly refused to REFUND my money. I paid for this via credit card. It is not like they have to cut and mail check to me. Because Im so unhappy with their response to my situation I will lose $90 for a tea/tour I will not be able to enjoy. I recommend at all costs that people do NOT bother with this institution.

If the Castle is advertising more for tours rather than brunch then yes it is a nice place. For a $50 Sunday brunch on the other hand the offerings were very minimal. Mixed greens, balsamic Vinaigrette, a chaffer of Fritatta, a chaffer of sliced ham, Chicken salad sandwich, egg salad sandwich both on croissant, cucumber sandwiches on wheat bread and a tray of sliced fruit. No desserts again for $50 I was so disappointed, I was expecting more of at least semi grand offerings as I am a Sous Chef at a hotel considering that this is a castle

The event put on for valentines day is a treat. They limit it to less than 50 people. Start the evening with cocktail reception and tours. The history of the castle is amazing. They had a guitar player for the evening filling the great room with soft classical music. The dinner was buffet style, followed by dessert and coffee. The views from the castle tower are amazing. Worth every penny, you definitely want to check this historic castle out for yourself.

It is a beautiful place, which remains a working 3,400 acre cattle/hay ranch. The castle, fashioned in 15th century Scottish style is truly awesome. We had a lovely afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings and an extremely enjoyable, informative tour afterward. Our guide had been the butler to the beloved lady of the house, Tweet Kimball, for 21 years prior to her death. Beautiful European antiques fill the house. It is a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

One of the most unique places Ive visited in Colorado! Went for the tea and tour. Definitely worth it! The views from the tower are breathtaking, make sure to bring a good camera. The tower stairs are steep, there is moderate walking and stairs as this is a 10,000 sq ft building! During warmer months they offer hikes on their 4000 acre property as well.

Ive lived 8 miles from this amazing place for 20 years, and only JUST went to a tea here recently, discovering this absolute GEM. I was enthralled with this places rich history, and outstanding art collection. It also has retained its status as a working catle ranch! The views are some of the best on the front range. Just make a reservation!

Gorgeous place but beware of the High Teas. Attended one catered by Serendipity Caterers and it was the worst garbage served by the worst servers. Teas are a hobby and I have attended Teas in this area, other cities in the US and in other countries. This one rates 0 on a 10 scale.

A magical unique place! I visited the castle with my daughter in the fall for a dinner on the balcony. An unforgettable experience. The views were breathtaking and the grounds and the castle are very well kept.
