I had my wedding there last year. While the view was beautiful and most of the staff was great, I was disappointed! The food they made for my wedding was AWFUL! So seasoning and it was like they left my food in the warmer hours before the wedding started. I had to pay a lot of money to let them make the food and the chef at the time was horrible and it was clear he did not care. When you tell you clients that the chef is going to follow your notes and make the food how you want it, that is how its supposed to happen. Basically being forced to pay for crappy food before you taste it is crap and I dont recommend anyone just having their wedding here just for the location. We paid a lot of money and unfortunately I have regrets about having my wedding with this location. Really try the food and be stern about what you want if you want to use this location.Barb was my favorite person on this day because she did care and was doing everything in her power to make everyone comfortable. If everyone cared like she did, that place would be been perfect. I have no desire to even go to this place again. I wouldnt even take my father in law their to golf because the food is so bad. I cannot believe how much money we paid for the crap we got! It doesnt matter if the view is great if everything else about the everything else is horrible! I dont recommend having a wedding here if you want your day to be a breeze and perfect.

Most overrated golf course in the west! If youre looking for beauty in a golf course, this is you place. However if youre looking for a good golf experience it leaves much to be desired. I have played (or attempted to) four times in the past year and have had the same condescending attitude from staff shop each time. First when I dropped my bag, staff questioned if I had brought in outside beverage bc the bag was heavy ( I have a tour bag with lots of golf balls and gadgets). We bought a deal through deal caddy and didnt make it one hole before the rain started and they argued with us about issuing a rain check. On the followup visit we made it through four holes before the rain and hail set in and they refused to issue a rain check, so five holes of golf for $70?? The course itself is just average. If you were to take away the scenery and put this course anywhere else, it would be a mediocre course. Once again the most overrated course in the west for the price paid.

We are in the process of planning a wedding here. They have been consistently unhelpful. We have been through four separate event planners during the course of our planning - they keep quitting. They are also unwilling to make even small adjustments to their preplanned options to meet our needs. For example, they will serve four or six appetizers, but not five. If you pay by the drink, they require you to estimate liquor consumption before hand. If your guests drink more, they cut it off. If they drink less, they keep the difference. An experience to avoid.

Though I cant deny the scenery is beyond spectacular BUT it was NOT worth $150.00. No water (only one drinking fountain on the whole course), no towels you pay for the view. I can get the same view playing The Ridge at Castle Pine and it be much cheaper. We were at a friends house on a Sunday they live off one of the holes and we saw a total of 3 sets of golfers (never a 4-some) and it was after 3 that played golf. Perhaps if they dropped the price and or included more amenities it may be worth playing and they would be a bit more busier.

The beauty of this golf course is far outshone by the stupidity of management. I am sitting on hole 12 with four other groups. There are 4 groups per hole - overbooked anyone? Or is it the marshalls not doing their job? We have had to wait on every hole. Oh, and there are two or three weddings going on. The beauty is outdone by the managment trying to make money - its quite sad. Oh, and the hot meal you get for your 90 dollars is a hot dog cause the restaurant is closed for all the weddings - awesome. At least tell me that before I pay!

The scenery here is absolutely spectacular. The course always seems to be in great condition. The pace of play leaves a lot to be desired, and is generally slow – BUT, the aforementioned scenery and conditions make it something I can live with once a year when I visit Colorado. This course visually is stunning, and is a lot of fun to play. This is a world class experience on a public course. I would not ever miss this course when in the state. I did not even subtract a star or two for the pace of play, because I like it SO much.

The views on this course are absolutely beautiful. The course was playing very difficult because the roughs were long and difficult to get out of and many holes are guarded by sand traps. It gets four stars instead of five because the course could be in better shape. I heard it was a little beat up due to multiple tournaments recently played on the course. However, I dont feel that the course is worth a green fee of $150. I would play here only if I could find a discounted green fee.

As a novice golfer I was scared and nervous to play here. However after the first few holes I realized that even if you arent great you can still enjoy the course. Arrowhead is by far the best golf course Ive ever played on. GPS golf carts, workers that unload and load your bags, free driving range while you wait for your tee time. Theres also plenty of wildlife. During my 18 holes I saw multiple deer, a fox, a snake, frogs and plenty of birds.

Beautiful location for a wedding. The wedding coordinator was horrible. So rude to everyone. Rushed our photos so much she hardly gave them time on the signature hole which she so bragged about during the walk through. We were so ahead of time because she cut photos so short they were 45minutes ahead of time and guests started leaving. I would be okay never working this venue again as pretty as it is.

The beauty of this golf course is negated by the experience of high cost and slow play Played Oct 14 and paid $130 for a round of golf that took 5:45 hours and the driving range was closed for weddings. Very disappointing.....I suggest you play many other nice courses around Denver for $50 and then drive in the mountains. I will never return...very unfortunate.

I played this course on a Friday afternoon in early September. They had a shotgun scramble push off in front of us, but I thought the marshals kept the course flowing at a good pace. We never had to wait at a tee box all afternoon. The course itself is beautiful and was in great shape. I will be going back before the season is over.

I have taken clients here from California 4 times and have yet to be disappointed. I little pricey, but the views are amazing. The course has always been in great shape when we play, and the staff bends over backwards to accommodate my out of state guests. I will be back next year and probably the next, and the next.
