This is one of my favorite places to go in the summer. All you need is a cheap tube, or even just an air mattress. Its about a mile or so trek to the top. As you walk along the creek you can choose from several different put-ins. Each is usually before a certain set of rapids. There is a lot of free parking on 10th, just west of Washington St. Next to the library or in the recreation center parking lot. I would highly recommend wearing tennis shoes that you dont mind getting wet. There are unpaved sections of the trail, and it makes it easier to walk on the creek bed.

My daughter and I nearly drown in Clear Creek today. Thanks to the people that were there or we would be dead. Lack of safty rules and a whole host of other things probably would have prevented this from happening. The doctor at the hospital today told me a women died in Clear Creek just a couple days ago. I will fight to make this place more safe so that lives can be saved in the near future.

A very nice park inside the City of Golden. The concrete trial is maintained and the scenery is unbeatable. Lots of tubing and related activities in the warmer months.

I have seen tubers of all age and it look liked fun at the end of August, 2016. It was cold but the water level was optimally low for a relaxing ride.

Ive never used the creek for whitewater activities, but I really enjoy walking there and watching people playing in the rapid features.
