I was super disappointed this afternoon when I tried to get a table at Creekside Cellars. I arrived at 2:52pm and waited 5 minutes before the hostess would acknowledge my presence. Then I asked how long it would be to get a table on the patio. She said approximately 30 minutes and she would call me. I left my name and phone number and walked around Evergreen. After 40 minutes without a call, I ventured back to the restaurant to ask how much longer. The hostess was nowhere to be found. I waited 15 minutes or more before I asked a 11 or 12 year old girl sitting behind the hostess desk to go find someone I could talk to. She returned without anyone. Okay. I finally grabbed a server and asked about the wait-time. Several people had left the patio since and still no hostess to seat us. The server found the hostess and she told us to wait. By this time, it was 4:05! I cant believe we werent offered another table or at least told a reason for the extended wait. Nothing. We were disregarded and felt like a nuisance. I was polite and understanding, but by this time, I was so discouraged. The hostess never came back and we left super upset. I brought my partner and mother to Evergreen for a special afternoon and am reluctant to ever return because of the lack of service and respect from the front of the house. I bet the establishment has great food and great wine, but Ill never know. I live 10 minutes away and will opt out each time I pass by. An hour and 13 min wait is one thing, but disregarding us and vacating the front is another. I suggest this if you are asked to wait more than 20-30 minutes for a table, reconsider. Evergreen has many other great restaurants with superb service and friendly demeanor! - Dr. C.F. Bishop

I am only giving a three star because I called ahead to make a reservation for a special lunch get together and the girl said it was not necessary. I explained I wanted to sit on the terrace but she said it wont be a problem because the kids would be back in school. But when we arrived on a Wed they said it was an hour and a half wait for the terrace and the man out front that met us was rather rude and short when I told him I had tried to make a reservation. I did not find the staff very friendly at all...I asked to have the cheese board explained and the waitress flipped the menu open to something and shoved it at me. However the wine was quite good and so was the food. Disappointed in the seating and the staff.

AMAZING FOOD. AMAZING SERVICE. My husband and I stopped in with no knowledge of this little gem and found that the people - from the chefs to the hostess are super friendly, engaging and welcoming. We felt like we were among friends. We loved our appetizer and lunch entrees so much we ordered dessert on a whim. The food is high quality, the flavor combinations are superb, and the presentation is a cut above. They were very patient, accomodating and nice, without being overbearing. I couldnt enjoy the wine, as Im pregnant, but will be headed back as soon as I can after the babys born. This is our new favorite place - highly recommend.

I visited this winery on a bachelorette party with 13 other girls. They accommodated our group wonderfully. We enjoyed a wine tasting and appetizers, and it made for the perfect afternoon. The Antipasto Platter and Cheese Board were phenomenal, and there wasnt a single wine that we tasted that we didnt like. The rose was definitely a favorite. The entire staff was very welcoming, we were helped by Michelle, Jackson & Annie.... thank you for a fantastic visit! We hope to come back on our next visit to Colorado!

After a long hike near Evergreen, this was the perfect pit stop on the way home back to Denver. First of all, we had the best paninis (there was even a gluten-free option with amazing house-made bread). Second of all, we were able to sit on the front patio with our dog and still hear the lovely live music instead. To top it off, the wine was delicious. Id definitely stop by here again...and maybe stay in town so I could enjoy more than a half glass and try some of their other varieties.

This is one of the highlights of a visit to Evergreen. We love the food and wine. We have been going here since 2006. We often go for a hike in the area and then go to Creekside for appetizers or lunch and always the wine.. Bill the owner and wine producer is great!

We probably get to eat at Creekside about once a month and I am always a fan of their food and the European feel of the cafe. Sit outside if weather permits and enjoy the creek (why do you think they call it creekside?) Wonderful place for lunch, dinner, wine.

Went for the first time yesterday. The food and wine were awesome. We would definitely go again. Sat creek side and had a bit of rain, but nothing that kept us from enjoying our meal, its Colorado after all!

Did a wine tasting but sadly didnt like any of them. The person pouring for our tasting wasnt knowledgable of any of the wines. The dining outside looked like a nice setting.

The wine, the Mediterranean cuisine, and the porch over looking Bear Creek sets the stage for a magnificent lunch.
