My mother and I got a groupon for a bottle of wine and a cheese platter here. We had been to their sister store before, Wines of Colorado, and liked it so we thought this would be great. We were so very wrong. The groupon requested we call ahead of time so they could prepare our cheese platter. When we called they were already rude. When we arrived we had to struggle to find the front door and then the tasting room. It should not be hard to find your way there, but they have set it up like a maze. We tasted a few of their six wine selection to see which wine we wanted. During the tasting, the server attempted to serve my 14 year old sister. We had to stop her, and then after that she still did not check any IDs. We were not overly impressed with any of the wines (There are definitely better tasting wines for much less money.), but we picked one for the groupon and another to buy because the groupon was such a deal. They brought us our cheese platter all wrapped up, and we left. In the car I opened the cheese platter, and Im not even sure you could call it a cheese platter. There were eight pieces of cheese each about 1/2"x1/2" and sliced paper thin. It was like they used the hour of prep time to make sure we got the least amount of cheese possible. We were definitely upset about this, but we would have let it go except for the hair on the cheese. We called them about this and they extremely rude, so we went back to return it. When we got back, we talked to a lady about our concerns. She was irate, abrasive, and rude. I said maybe two things to her and she kicked me out of her store because she was not "going to be talked to by a 21 year old who knows nothing." She clearly would rather have kicked us out of the store than have tried to fix the problem. Also, all paying customers should be treated with respect, regardless of age. I may be 21, but I conducted myself in a much more dignified way than her. My mother was allowed to stay and talk with her. During the conversation the lady was yelling and cursing, and my mother was afraid she try to hit her. My mother ended up getting the bottle of wine we bought returned, but the lady took our cheese platter back and said we could get no more cheese and that we should bring it up with groupon. All in all, it was the worst customer service experience I have had, and I have dealt with Comcast several times. I will be staying far, far away from here and their sister store.

What is up with the attitudes??? A friend and I went there a few months ago, got the rum balls, a cheese platter, and two glasses of wine, all of which was way overpriced for the quality, or the lack thereof..... Not to mention an employee, we think it was the owner from he way she spoke, sat there and complained about how she "really hated some of her customers..... especially the smokers." Really? Totally unprofessional and inappropriate. Im not a smoker, but my friend who accompanied me is. We went up there to relax and get away from the negativity of the city, not to spend $50 to hear an employee/owner bad mouth, and put her customers down. Save that kinda talk for when you are out of earshot of paying customers. Happy to say you will never see one of my non-smoking dollars again. I gave you one star because I didnt have the option of giving you a big, fat. ZERO

Such rude service. Stopped in for a latte and no one was at the counter, so I walked around and found someone at the wine bar. Said I wanted a latte and bathroom. She rudely told me someone would meet me back at the counter. Went back to the counter and ordered the latte from another lady who wouldnt even make eye contact. Asked where the bathroom was, and turns out it was right next to the wine bar that I was just at. Used the bathroom then went back to the counter, got the latte and paid, and she literally turned her back to me until we left. No "thank you," no help on the sweeteners, stirrers, etc. Nothing until I said "Thank you!" and she told me to have a nice day. If theyd had decent attitudes, I would have gone back to visit the winery sometime but now theres no way Id return. Oh, and the latte was terrible.

I wish I could give this a better rating because the location is great and they have potential to be an awesome place! However, the women (who I assume is the owner) was rude, uninformative and clearly dislikes her job and probably people. Terrible service. We had to carry our wine selection, wine glasses, water glasses, and bottle of water out to the table ourselves. Thankfully someone did bring out our cheese platter and told us what cheeses were on the platter. We did use their Groupon for the wine tasting and cheese platter. For the price of the groupon it was an ok wine selection and platter. I would never pay their full price! We probably would have bought some more food or wine, but no one ever checked on us and gave us any information on what they had available.

Unfortunately my review of this place is AWFUL, RUDE ladies!! Ice cream was good, but getting it is chore!! We walked up and lady was just coming out of sweet shop, rudely asked if we were going to winery. We said we would like ice cream. She then said ok and would be back, she then continued to go opposite direction. After making us wait, she finally came in shop and waited on us. Like other reviews have said- no eye contact, thank you, or anything close to friendliness! Lady in winery has equal amount of customer regard! Wont be stopping back for wine as planned!!

The woman pouring the wine was rude and obnoxious. Her attitude seemed only to be surpassed by her lack of intelligence and intellectual ability. WE were definitely surprised that an establishment of this caliber had someone so abrasive in an area that was constantly customer facing. We later found out that she was married to the owners son - he could have done better. We will not be returning.

Drove a long way, vehicle overheated and we nicely asked if we could get some water to cool down the vehicle. What we received was pure attitude and stated she couldnt as the spigot was locked. While it was cooling down asked if we could get a burger there and the reply was no, (pointing)go across the street. This rude lady should not be in any proximity of the public.

Terrible. Stopped in on a day trip after cave of the winds. Looks like it would be a cool place. We were met with tons of attitude. I usually dont like to leave negative reviews of places, but people should be warned about this joint. They dont have restrooms either. Not sure how you expect to get people do drink something but not provide a restroom.

Really cool location; was expecting a great experience. As stated in other reviews, the lady pouring our wine was unfriendly. She rushed us through 6 samples and acted annoyed with questions. We asked about purchasing an item in the gift shop and was not "thats not for sale" even thought it was on a stand with everything else that was on sale.
