This place is horrible. I have memberships at every winery in the treasure valley and Sawtooth Winery is the only one to consistently do things to upset their customers. My last wine shipment came in and I was unable to get it for literally a few months. I drove over there 3 times and every single time was during a week day when it says they are supposed to be open. I even called a few times and they just decided to be closed for a week. The last time I drove there during normal business hours (mind you its a good 30 minutes one way) there were enough cars to fill up the entire parking lot but their door was locked. I pounded on the door multiple times and called their number like 5 times out of frustration even left messages but nobody answered nor did they care to call me back. After about 30 minutes even the FED EX guy was there wondering what was going on couldnt even leave a package so we both just took off. I had to come a 4th time with my family and wait in the car just to get the wine I ordered forever ago. Then, to add insult to injury, they had some wine company call me asking what I liked best about Sawtooth Winery and did I want to buy some more wine and I told the guy no way and explained what happened and the guy tells me he will contact them and have them call me. Nobody ever did. Finally today I get an email telling me theyre going to charge me for another shipment of wine and I try to call them (at like 2pm not during lunch not during some wierd hour of the day) and what a shocker they dont answer the phone. I decided to email them back and say cancel my membership do not charge my card. I then get a response like yeah right you signed an agreement that you have to abide by and we are not refunding this shipment but we will cancel your membership after that.

Sawtooth is our favorite winery in the Treasure Valley near Boise! They offer a full range of wines that are expertly crafted and the location is beautiful and relaxing. Enjoy a glass of wine on the porch overlooking the hundreds of acres of vineyard, or participate in one of the many well organized events in the wine cellar or on the lawn. One of our favorite memories was watching "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" out on the lawn at dusk, on a big blow up screen! We watched a huge storm develop on the horizon, then finally had to end the evening when it hit the area. The staff is wonderful - educated, interested and helpful for all levels of wine experience. Join the wine club for the super special events that are reserved for members.

This was the most unorganized and oversold event I have ever been to. We had to wait in the car for 40 minutes just to park. Once we parked there was no space available to set up the picnic. People were literally walking over each other. Next you stood in line for 30-60 minutes to get a drink or have kids faces painted. Dont waste your time you will be very disappointed by this winery selling a 1,000 tickets for a 500 ticket event!

Went here on a late winter day with a group of 5 for a tasting and some cardgames. Both the service and the wines were excellent, but there was only two or three tables large enough to seat more than four, and they were both outside. Arent wine tastings popular with groups? Shouldnt there be more space for people to hang out and enjoy there wine, and not in the cold?

For the second time today... the view is awesome. Overlooking the whole valley. Bring a lunch if the weather is good. Cold and wet today. The whites were not special (to me) but the reds were fabulous. Malbec won over the Cabernet again... just barely.

Overpriced, rushed, and cramped! If you tour the other local wineries you will see how much of a rip off this one is. Twist open wines and stingy pours. The other wineries nearby are much better!

Unfathomable Unstopable

Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable staff. The GM, Kelli, is fantastic and the wine is superb. Gorgeous building and stunning views.
