Probably the absolute bottom of the barrel. The absolute worst I have ever encountered, did the Two-Step on us to begin with, but besides that, the room was pitiful, dirty with no amenities in any way shape or form. I understand that Colorado law does allow children under the age of 21 to stay in a gambling establishment, but we booked at the Isle who did the Two-Step on us in order to collect more money. I can not even begin to describe how awful that experience was, and my son, who we drove up to visit, who works for the city of BlackHawk was so embarrassed, as was my daughter-in-law who works for Ameristar. I will make sure that we publish our trip on our Web Sites so nobody else will have to go through the hell that we did. Want a cup of coffee? Better expect to take the elevator down, walk across the street to the very back of the casino where you finally will find a coffee pot (no guarantee that there is any coffee in it), no lids to put on the cups,(heaven forbid that you may be able to walk out of the casino without spending any money), and finally walk all the way back to your room, balancing two cups of coffee. All of that because the hotel was too concerned about their bottom line to put a pathetic little bag of coffee in the in-room coffee maker. Hey folks, learn from the major casinos i Reno, Vegas, Monte Carlo etc., you dont need to try to milk your customers for every last penny. You have got a lot to learn if you want to be a world class destination. Right now you are only a cheap Motel 6. BTW: My wife recorded her experience at the check-in on her phone and the video of that fiasco will be posted on u-tube shortly as a warning to anybody who are considering staying at this fiasco of a hotel.

We received a free hotel stay at the Isle/Lady Luck as well as the Reserve. Weve stayed at both the Reserve and the Isle before, and thought wed try out Lady Luck. (Just for reference - we like the Reserve but less machine options / The Isle doesnt have bathroom doors that completely close, they are shutter doors with a crack in the middle.) We pulled up to park Valet for Lady Luck only to find out it was for the casino and would need to go across the street for Hotel Valet. We followed the signs for Hotel Valet parking, parked where the sign said, and went to sign in to the hotel/valet. The front desk attendant laughed when we asked to check out car into Valet and said "We havent had valet in years." It might be a wise idea to take down the 3 or 4 signs around the parking lot advertising it then... Room was basic - These doors also do not close completely. there is a door on each side that meets in the middle, but leaves a crack you can see through. Not a big deal unless there are 4 adults to a room. No room service. Called the front desk at 9 am to find out the check out time....the phone rang for 2 minutes with no answer. I called the 1-800 number to get an answer and was advised "if no one is available, you can walk to the Isle to check out" which would require walking the length of the Isle Casino to get to the Hotel lobby and walking back. The hotel is located in an awkward location between the Isle and Lady Luck so you have a 3-4 minute walk either way to get to either casino. At least at the Isle, the elevator is conveniently located very close to the casino floor. For a free hotel room, it wasnt terrible, but well probably go back to the Reserve for our room options.

We went to Lady Hawk Hotel on July 25, 2016. This was a trip do-over, as the last trip to your hotel ended with my pregnant sister falling in the bathroom due to water leaking from the ceiling. Upon arrival we were greeted by a rude front desk clerk, who we would later have multiple more encounters with. this lady was rude to everyone, not just us. her name was Kara (spelling?) * Took over 4 hours to get our second room, which was reserved in advance. As a result we had 2 kids, and 3 adults stuffed in one room while we waited for your rude staff to decide how to proceed. * Our first room, we found pills on the floor and a dirty sock. * Air Conditioning is barely functional, in both rooms * On checkout day, moments after 11am passed a maid knocked and knocked on the door, ignoring our privacy sign. WE had ALREADY called the front desk, and were rudely told noon would be an ok checkout time. The housekeeping staff knocked three more times within half an hour. When I was finishing up, about 15 minutes til our agreed checkout (noon) the staff kept banging on our door and trying to open it, while i was in the bathroom. No one was nice to us for this entire stay, a good portion of our stay was taken up fighting with staff who clearly hate their jobs. I now know what hotel in Blackhawk does NOT want repeat business, nor does it care about the guests at all. I was extremely disappointed with this stay, due to the service at this hotel.

Staying here was by far the worst hotel experience Ive ever had. Even before we arrived, the woman who was supposed to handle group reservations (we were a wedding party trying to stay near our venue in Golden) never returned our calls. When we did arrive, our reservation was incorrect and slowed down the check-in process, which left 15 of us standing in the lobby for 25 minutes. The rooms were fine, but not as nice as we would hope for the prices we were paying. Also the bathroom doors had no locks, which was strange! In the morning, they wouldnt give us an extra towel even though our room with two queen beds (sleeps four) had only three towels. Check-out begins a whole new saga. They have overcharged us for our rooms by almost $300 and will not return my calls. I have been told that the "reservation system" was down, that the manager was in a meeting, that their was no manager there but they did not know when he would return. I am not usually one to write poor reviews of places, but this hotel should be avoided. Their customer service is atrocious.

Well I went there and I paid for a voucher out of the atm machine and I took it to customer service. They said that they could not take the voucher at that time because there computers were down and that if I didnt cash it in 2 hours it would go back on my bank account I had to wait two hours and wile I was waiting I was looked at like I did something wrong.I never got a apology for my inconvenience and if I took there advice to not worry and wait I probably would have lost my money that I paid for the voucher because the money never did go back on my bank account after two hours. I tried to explain to him that the ATM had already taken the money out of my bank account so why should I have to wait because they got their money they told me that I would have to wait and that if I did not settle down that they would call the cops on me I did not raise my voice all I was doing was trying to explain to him that the ATM there ATM had taken out the money from my bank account I will never go back to Lady Luck
