Waste of time and money. This review is for the swimming classes. I enrolled my two kids in the beginners level. The trainer Jimmy is nice. We attended every class offered. There were not too many kids in the group one trainer for my two kids a couple of times there were 4 kids per trainer. Overall there was no instructions or development of skills or work on weaknesses. I asked Jimmy several times how my kids were doing and he mentioned a weakness with each kid. I dont have a swimming pool so I showed my kids videos of how to do the skill or move and practiced it. One class before the test i asked Jimmy how my kids are doing and he said there will be 1 more class and they will definitely pass. The last day came and the trainer produced plastic circles and started throwing them behind him at the 4 level and asking the kids to retrieve them. The kids never trained to do so. The trainers were busy playing lovey dovey during classes with each other instead of training the kids. How do you test the kids on something they never practiced or taught. I feel like i wasted my money taking them to another school. Dont waste your time or money.

Cant say enough about this park. Its modern with rubbery floors and unique structures for all ages. The negative (not worth a star reduction) would be that it is too big. Normally, this is a positive problem. However, when you are chasing a 2 year old who likes to slide once on one structure, run back to the first set of slides, slide once, repeat pattern all while you are chasing said toddler (or risk dirty looks from the helicopter mums and dads) you will need a nap the same time your kid does . My biggest issue has to do more with South San Francisco itself than the park. The wind. It is relentless. While your kids will be too happy playing and warm enough running the wind can transform Mother of the Year into Mommy Dearest. I kid you not.

Big, clean park with ample play areas for the kiddos. There are two separate play structure areas. The large one has three structures by age. Squishy ground except in the tot lot. The second play structure area is on the opposite side of the park. There is plenty of green grass for running around, basketball court, baseball field, Bocce ball court. There are picnic tables with grills that can be reserved or on first come basis. The large field adjacent Orange Ave is great for kite flying when there isnt a soccer match going on. Parking is easy in the main lot which doubles as the local farmers market space during summer. Expect to see the ice cream truck come around on the weekends! Kids love the play break for a treat!

This park has made a ton of improvements, but what I love the most is the pool and the affordable swimming lessons. They also have recreational swim and an active swim team. Great location for kids. The park has a new playground, basketball court, baseball field and lots of grass to play on. They also have a beautiful hall that can be rented through the city. Great place for family fun. Plenty of parking and they also have a great taco truck parked at the front.

Most of this park is in fairly good condition, especially the northern portion of it which has been rehabilitated. However, the south side of the park has a lot of damaged patches of grass and looks like it needs serious rehabilitation. The new community center is always busy. Both sides of the park have lots of parking, and it is fairly easy to get from the park area to the baseball field.

Good size, plenty of FREE parking, BBall court, Multiple BBQ areas. Make a reservation on holidays, otherwise usually okay without, but you may have to share a grill (or bring your own) But note that you technically cant bring your own.

Cool little community park. You can rent tables and there are a couple of pavilions available as well. There are baseball fields, at least one playground, and a LOT of space. Good place to bring the family.

Getting a tennis court when its busy can be a pain since people tend to not want to come off and instead rotate out their larger group. Besides that the location is great, nice courts, good lights.

This is one of the nicest parks in the southern SF area / northern peninsula. Lots to do here. Great for kids, teens, and pets. Only thing missing are the classic stone chess and shogi boards.

2015.04.18: Big park, lots of playground stuff, pretty crowded. Cool factor: youre very close to the big letters on the hillside that say: "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, THE INDUSTRIAL CITY".

Love this park. Great for dogs, kids, and romantic walk. Near the bocci lanes are beautiful sculptures. In the early A.M. on the basketball court, Zumba is offered free.

Baseball is in bad shape. I stepped in the stands and my foot broke the floor. Hurt my shin. A whole lot of people saw. It was embarrassing
