I would give it a half star if I could. By far one of the worst dining experiences in recent memory. My family and I arrived at a little before 2pm to a fairly empty pub. I put in a drink order that was promptly forgotten. Ten minutes later, my server "remembers" and delivers my now warm beer. 5 minutes later we stop another server and get her to take our order. This is the last that we see of anyone till the end. While we are waiting (waited 45 minutes before we gave up) had a lot of time to observe. They say they are a British pub, but little British food on offer. Couldnt tell you how it tastes because they never got our order to us. This "sports bar" was very dimly lit, even for mid afternoon. The servers were running around trying to control the chaos of about twelve people total. The whole time we were here, the "manager" did little more than hide by the kitchen and eat fries. After 45 minutes, myself and two other tables decided to give up and leave. Sorry for the long, drawn out negative review, but I just want to let you know that this is probably a "to avoid" until they can fix their staffing problems.

The food is great, the fried artichoke hearts are AMAZING, the fish and chips is perfect, and the English breakfast is very well done. Their "BBC (Bangers, Beans and Chips) is one of my favorites. Theyre flexible on how the food is prepared. The alcohol selection is huge, and the option of ciders, along with the beers, is a great thing. I would love to give them a five star rating, but I am holding back because of the service. It frequently takes up to 1/2 hour to get paid attention to when you sit down at one of the tables. The waitresses can be a bit rude. They frequently miss some part of the order, many times dont correct the problem, and almost never come to check on you... usually they come by, finally, when the meal is done, and late enough that if you want to order another drink and/dessert, you have decided not to bother. It also can take a while to get the check - especially when you no longer have food or a drink in front of you. I LOVE the Capitola store, but rate this one as ok.

The idea of Brit is really great to me, a cool place to watch sports, and then they also have live music after, right? Unfortunately, the two things shouldnt mix. I go here sometimes to watch Sharks games. The night life starts about a half hour to an hour before the home games(7:30) end, and so begins the ruckus of the band setting up, testing their mics, and a flood of people who probably have no idea who the San Jose Sharks are. So now, theyre blocking the t.v. and I cant hear the game. WAY frustrating especially during the last period of a game. When we cheer or boo, I get a bunch of people with puzzles looks turn around and look at us. Otherwise, if youre looking for a chill place with diverse people and live music, its a good place to go. The sports fans might be in your way for a little while though. =P

Everyone loves the Brit, my picky teenage boys, my very particular Mother, and my fiancee. This is why, the food is homemade. The soup is suprisingly something I order on a regular. My favorite is the dry rub wings, super crispy, not breaded. The pulled pork are my boys fav. The fish and chips are perfect. The tartar sauce is made in house, order extra, you are going to want it. Heres a shocker, the fish tacos, Baja style are fresh and cooked perfect, great fresh coleslaw. The bar is well stocked with anything you can imagine. Here my recomendation for this British Pub, try their Sangria, I know right?!! Yes the sangria...If you have the time or care you can get the low down how the food is made. No corners are cut here. Its also a great place to ditch the kids and watch a game.

Fun place to hang out. My boyfriend likes it because theyre one of the few places that plays soccer. Not to mention their great selection of beer on tap. I personally like their pear cider! Theyre fish and chips are MASSIVE for a decent price. And (although the pickings are slim) they were able to accommodate my gluten free needs. The only gripe I had was with their sliced chicken on my salad. A few pieces had those little gummy pieces in it. Super simple fix would be if they just cut them out.. The service was great, though. Lunch on Friday was a good idea.

A unique setting. Part sports bar, part English pub, all-around great fun. I visited on a Sunday mid-morning for an early lunch. I recommend the Pulled Pork Sandwich with a side of Sweet Potato fries. Add your favorite brew and youre set to go. The dinning area has no less than a dozen TVs playing just about every sports broadcast. There is an outside eating area that is pleasant and quieter. Definitely worth a visit.

Got here on a Saturday morning for a Soccer game, I had originally called them the night before and they said they would be open, and they werent. Went home and came back for the 2nd half. Tried sitting at the bar and they told me that I couldnt because they were reserved for regulars, even though there wasnt anybody else in there. I have never gone back and never will.

This place is legit. Totally out of its realm, nice to see. Great value here and the diversity in the crowd is nice. Although most bars now in the city are white people with yellows slowly moving in. Food is typical and as expected, staff is super friendly and somehow are able to remember me vs. the other yellows when it comes to pay the bill.

Nice place! I stopped here sober AF for lunch with my cousin. I like the vibe this place puts out. The only reason I dont give it a 5 star rating is because the food was not my style the burger wasnt all that but on the up side the Buffalo wings are off the hook. This place is a pub I should only be drinking here anyways!

Went there for fish&chips. Waited for ever for someone to take our order. Then waited for almost 30 minutes for an order that never came. When we asked for the check for our sodas the grumpy waitress explained they were busy. We just left a couple bucks on the table and walked out. We never went there again.

Dont do business with the bar owner Mike North. Hes unprofessional and will make up excuses not to pay you. If youre reading this Mike, pay me the $115 you owe me like we agreed upon in our oral contract. -Mike Myers PS the food is ok and the service sucks. Rudest waitresses in the south bay.

Ive been here twice and ended up with the same horrible service from the same bartender. Racist against minorities. African Americans, Asian or Hispanics. They will skip you and not serve you. Even their own security couldnt believe it but he had to do his job. Smh. Female bartender

Igazi pub hangulat. Az ételek ízletesek és bőségesek. Ajánlom azoknak, akik szeretik a kicsit hangosabb, laza helyeket.
