Two stars are given for the course and the staff at the front office. We hosted a small gentlemans tournament and the event would have been great if it hadnt been for the ranger who was a pompous ass! We were on pace according to the fancy computer and the Ranger is telling us the computer is wrong and he is right. We finished in 4 hrs and 2 mins and were slowed down by the 6 visits by course staff. If anything slowed us down and pretty much ruined our enjoyment of the course it was the crusty old jerk harassing us. It also spilled over into the 19th hole as we were complaining about it there as well. For as much money as we payed to play the course, you would think they would be more professional. Its disappointing because now I will have to recommend against this course for future tournament considerations. The advisory boards I sit on were looking at this course for a large 2017 sponsored event. Oh well, on to the next course!

2nd TPC course I played during my west coast trip, boy it wasnt a let down. For a public course it is unreal, super wide fairways and such sceneries every hole can be viewed. The pro shop was nice, decent practice range. Chipping section was closed that day I played but thats ok. Starter let me go early as the group ahead of my tee time was late. Booked through their site and got $80 deal usually $160 I believe, pretty good rate if you ask me as we pay $80 regularly in Toronto and its nowhere close to a TPC setup. The conditions were great, I was told by my local playing partner (whos also a member a Stone Brae) that the conditions are good and the greens were rolling true. Rough is not as bad but everything else is in great conditions. I would definitely play Harding park on my next visit! Oh ya, tough 3 finishing holes! Well recommended

Breathtaking views. While I can only speak on the clubhouse, the rest of the park and facilities looked beautiful and were seemingly popular as well. I was here for a memorial of a friend. It left quite the impression. The clubhouses event room was way to small to house the memorial guests, and it became a little uncomfortable after 2-3 hours of standing room only, however there was a deck just behind the floor to ceiling windows and the fresh coastal air felt godsent. The venue had a bar and light snacks which i proceeded to spill on the floor...Twice. I gave up and abandoned my dinnerware. There was a projector screen and projector presumably for pharmacorp conventions and bachelor parties...Which translated surprisingly well for a funeral Service.

Had lunch at Cypress Grill at Harding Park Golf course, San Francisco. Sitting by the window overlooking the #18 fairway and the green with the lake in the background. Great view. Ordered an Angus Beef Burger for $14. The burger was great, but the fries were burned and inedible. Asked the waitress to change to some edible fries. "Everyone is getting the same kind of fries," she responded. Later she showed me some burned fries other customers ordered but did nothing to my complaint. What grade should I give the food and service?

TPC is always a great track, with well manicured fairways and smooth greens. Its links-style so there is no OB on the front nine, and all OB is on the left on the back nine. The rates are great if you are a city resident and have a resident card. Not always easy to get a tee time but as a single they almost always get you a spot quickly. Fun, challenging course and I always seem to shoot my best rounds here.

This is a review for the Cypress Grill at Harding Park. Great view and awesome sandwiches. The Prime Rib sandwich dip is BACK! Their burger is good too. Garlic fries are decent. And parking... Just dont park near the entrance on the left in front of the grass. Ive seen a large dimple appear on someones hood. Otherwise, no stress (and free) parking in San Francisco. Am I dreaming?

Course is a blast to play. Honestly enjoyed every hole. There are no water coolers on the course, which is lame and reason for the loss of a star. The five finishing holes are awesome and finishing on 18 with the restaurant and pro shop watching is fun. Its not a cheap round but Id say its worth a go at least once.

I always park off Lake Merced Blvd, by the De Anza statue, and walk across the bridge, through the golf course. The giant trees and finely manicured lawns are an excellent backdrop to the prim clubhouse. Excellent place to take visitors to SF for a quiet breakfast/brunch/lunch. Very fluffy pancakes.

This course is in impeccable shape with a solid layout through the northern California cypress trees. Solid restaurant. The greens fees are a little overpriced due to the PGA having taken over management.

Marshall was a nazi about our pace of play. We did 2 hours 5 min. per side and were never pressured by the following group. This is too slow? Sorry, for that kind of money and hassle, we wont be back.

Its awesome to have a public course like the TPC Harding Park. I live in SF and got a resident card from the city hall. Youll get your money worth by just playing two round of golf. Do it.

Great course. If you have the SF Resident card its a great value, otherwise its pretty expensive. Can be a bit slow on weekends, but get in early and just enjoy the beautiful old course.

Pretty nice park though there are raccoons that people have fed so they approach you for food. Unfortunately for both sides (the animals and the humans in the area). Lake is nice.

The back 9 is considerably more interesting than the front. After TPC got a hold of it the conditioning is up to par with other courses in the area.

A solid golf course. Unfortunately they was airifying the greens but good information before the round and also plus for discounted green fee.

Iconic SF old-school course fully updated. A must play - the stomping grounds of Venturi, Harvy Ward, Johnny Miller and many others. Boom

The course was in great shape. The greens were fast and smooth. Personally, I think this course is better than Torry Pines.

Stopped here for dragon boat practice. The park seemed nice and was fairly busy. Would likely stop here again.

There is public walking path that snakes between the golf fairways taking you down to the adjoining lakes.

The course is in fantastic shape and a remarkable value if you have a San Francisco resident card.
